Yeah, I watch porn and enjoy it without any shame. Problem? Don't get an attitide with me just because I don't hate it like you.Perhaps but it might affect how you see this issue.

And I disagree with you.Haha I don't hate it at all. I just think it is over-blown, has arrived with virtually no controls, has effects far beyond what should be its concern and is much more damaging than many seem to realise. So, no personal attack at all. I try not to do that. I do attempt to see where some come from though.
And I disagree with you.
Don't use me as an example for your anti-porn bull****. I've never really been a type to pursue sex and relationships, compared to my peers. Besides, a person isn't "broken" if they don't and if they are satisfied with giving themselves pleasure. At least the orgasm is guaranteed. Lol. Romantic relationships just aren't a priority in my life right now.
I'm not interested in your ignorant, judgmental garbage that relies on outdated stereotypes. You don't know a thing about me.Barring physical or psychological problems, every male on the planet is driven towards an intimate relationship with a partner, after they reach puberty. Sex is the most powerful, and the most basic of all human drives. But to accomplish this, we must learn to develop enough basic social skills to negotiate many mating hurdles. These hurdles are designed to ensure that the relationship will last long enough to produce and raise a viable offspring(trust, commitment, patients, mutual feelings of love, honesty, humour, communication skills, compassion and forgiveness, and sharing). Other than survival, this is our purpose for existing. Porn couldn't care less in developing these skills and attributes. It only cares that you maintain a fantasy relationship with virtual people in its virtual world.
Did you know that once the orgasm reaches the ejaculatory phase, nothing on this planet can stop it? Not even death itself. As far as guaranteed orgasms, I doubt it. If you haven't already noticed a pattern, you eventually will. Your orgasms will take longer to reach, and become shorter in duration. Eventually not at all, and certainly not in the non-virtual world with real relationships. My advice is to abstain for eight months, deal with your social and personal insecurities, and have the best multiple orgasms, with the best real person in your life. You can never love yourself more than someone else can(barring psychological issues). Don't miss out on the joy of being loved by someone. The joy that someone wants to share their life with you forever. The joy of your first child and parenthood. The joy of knowing that my partner will always have my back, and would do anything for me. The joys in real life can never be overrated. They can only be understated. Don

Was this sarcasm or did you respond to the wrong person?Hah! I don't care. I will still judge you harshly and unfairly. You better brace yourself.

It's more than mere disagreement. Her arguments are stupid and she misrepresents data... and talking about attitudes .. calling Gail Dines a moron because you disagree with her views isn't?
Okay...Humor, perhaps sarcasm. I could have used a smiley, but that would have made it too obvious in my opinion.

Normally I wouldn't stick my nose in here, but I just came across your strange remark here. Are you really under the impression, that the loss of semen has a significant effect on the amount of one's enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, biological salts, testosterone? One that requires a person to pay special attention their diet?---Of course one should always maintain a healthy diet whether they masturbate or not. Trouble is, you neglected to include the whole of the statement from which you lifted your information:There are no harmful physical effects from masturbation, as long as you maintain a healthy diet to replace the nutrients lost during ejaculation( enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, biological salts, testosterone).
I think the comparison should be obvious; the later normally being far more desirable. It is the psychological problems that may need to be addressed. I know we live in a world of instant comfort and gratification, but how can anyone compare a sexual relation with virtual images and virtual partners, to sexual relations with a real partner?

Is the fact that porn is profitable make it worse?Yes, and many of us who might have used porn to excess - I have in the past - will know that the stuff just keeps one from dealing with the real problems that need to be faced. Which I submit is a big problem with porn. It hardly solves anything - but makes a lot of money for some.
Don't tell me that you have never heard of "precious bodily fluids"!Normally I wouldn't stick my nose in here, but I just came across your strange remark here. One that requires a person to pay special attention their diet?---Of course one should always maintain a healthy diet whether they masturbate or not. Trouble is, you neglected to include the whole of the statement from which you lifted your information:
"Masturbation may be the cause for exacerbation of your costichonndritis. [Inflammation of the junctions where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone, or sternum.] Sperm contains DNA, which is carrier of the heredity genetic code, and RNA which contains enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, biological salts, testosterone, etc. When ejaculation is carried out, a very small percentage of this components (enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, biological salts, testosterone) are eliminated from the body. so when calcium is extracted it can cause fatigue and pain in the bones."Nothing at all about any special deleterious effect masturbation has on one's nutrients, the loss being trivial, and only telling in a very special case. (Interestingly enough, costichonndritis is more common among women.)

It certainly did come to mind.Don't tell me that you have never heard of "precious bodily fluids"!
You accuse me of avoiding commitment and then you bring up that stupid pseudo-scientific crap about losing nutrients when you ejaculate (which is bull**** and I'm a trans man, anyway, so I don't have semen to ejaculate to begin with)? *clicks ignore*I don't know a thing about you? I know that you not only watch porn but you enjoy watching it. I know that you believe that others are being judgemental and stereotyping you, because of their outdated beliefs regarding positive social norms, family values, and expected social behavior. I know that you believe that the majority of sociologist, psychiatrist, psychologists, neurologists, urologists, prison guards, and most mental health workers, are either wrong about the dangers of watching porn, or you just don't give a crap. I know that having a guaranteed orgasm is a high priority in your sexual activity. I know that you avoid or fear commitment. So, to be fair I do know some "thing" about you. You are not the problem, porn is the problem

What's next, "hologram love", "cyber love" , or "AI love". Even paid-for love is better than imaginary love. Don
