Pressure On Biden To Pardon Trump

Heyo

We know none right now. Trump hasn't been convicted of any major felony because there are still appeals pending.
He has been convicted - and he hasn't appealed all convictions, yet. (But that is a technicality.)
That is just more reason to wish him a long life. He owes a lot of people money, and he owes the US people to restore trust in their justice system.

Well that's up to the fat lady.

You don't follow the news (except Fox News), I presume? He was convicted of fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, falsifying business records and defamation. He has other cases pending with more severe accusations.
You don't keep up with your party very much.
That was just more of the phony " JOY, JOY, JOY ! " in putting Hitler in the bullseye , in desperate hope of winning an election where you have zilch to run on except aborting more babies & the majority of Americans is disgusted with you , and your lawfare and not ending up like the losers you should be used to being by now.
Everybody knows that .
Even your High Priest of Democrat loser Lawfare knows that .

Signaling that Presidents (ex & current) are above the law.

That's kind of built into the idea of Presidents being able to pardon folks.
The check and balance on this is the other two branches of the Federal government.

So you understand all things being equal due to the fact that in eight years of his presidency no attempt on Obama's life ever made ?

As compared in the span of a short few months before even becoming president Trump being called a threat to the republic has been wounded by gunfire, and set up for another round of gunfire by two separate assassins .

Your estimation of the two comparisons somehow being equal has no basis in the reality of who has actually been shot and set up to be shot , factoring in years vs months of opportunity, compared to who has not suffered attack and who has been shot
But then again belief in reality would have never led to the severe landslide of an election that just happened either.
So there is a consistency in your illogical approach I will give you that .

Third of Democrats wish Donald Trump had been killed

A third of Democratic voters I surveyed in a snap poll on 18 July openly agreed with the statement “I wish Trump’s assassin hadn’t missed.” Looking beneath the numbers, the new moral absolutism of the progressive Left.

What here gives you the impression that what Democrats said or did led to the assassination attempts?

The fact that so many have woken up to the truth now, it's humbling and strengthening to see what people have called a great realignment for this country.

Where do you get the impression the assassination attempts are over ?

" It's time to put Trump in the bullseye " ( Biden )

Full comment:

"I have one job, and that's to beat Donald Trump. I'm absolutely certain I'm the best person to be able to do that. So, we're done talking about the debate. It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye."

Meanwhile, Trump:

“I have this piece of glass here,” he said. “But all we have really over here is the fake news. And to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news. And I don’t mind that so much.”

They limit the powers of the president.
Congress can remove the president from office which would mean no more pardons.
Many (if not most) pardons are issued
during the final days of a lame duck term.
Removal is no threat....if it ever were.
How many Presidents have ever been
removed, eh.

If he pardons Trump, he should pardon Hunter.
But I think neither one should be pardoned.
It's well known that there are innocent people convicted of crimes -- sometimes the worst of crimes. Consider the Central Park Five, just for example, but there are literally thousands of examples.

I would love to see the pardon power used to do something about that -- where the President is presented with the evidence of wrongful conviction. Such evidence may not be incontrovertible, but pardoning people on the basis of reasonable doubt would certainly benefit many, many innocent folks, even if it also lets a few guilty slip through.

FYI, Trump publicly called for their execution,
never backing off, even after their exoneration.
He's a big fan of cops coercing confessions,
no matter if the confession is false because
of torture, stress, or trickery.

would be nice if Trump could be held accountable for his crimes. But I think that now that he has a four year reprieve, he will be dead before having to face any consequences for his actions.

I vote no on a pardon.

WIth all the self destructive stupid mistakes he makes he will punish himself. At the same time I think spending half your time in court and fighting off folks who are following you and trying to stop you is big enough punishment anyways.
