There are a lot of strange fantasies, aren't there?

A lot of people think the Bible is fantasy, but to me that does Not change what we can learn from the Bible.
I find there is nothing fantasy about Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8 because that preaching work is being done on a grand international scale just as foretold it would be done. So, to me that means since we have reached that ' final phase ' of the work, then we are nearing the ' final signal ' of 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 when the ' powers that be ' will be saying, " Peace and Security.... " but that is the precursor to the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14.
As the world scene deteriorates that is No fantasy to me but proof the living Bible is coming to pass.
As it is written, so it is coming to be.

I agree forever is a long time because for each day we can count we can count forever both forwards or backwards.
I am wondering what healthy person wants to pick the day they want to die ______.
Most people I find seek medical help to prolong one's life.
Seems to me most people do Not want to leave Earth. Leaving Earth or life is what they find scary.
I find that according to Scripture - Psalms 115:16 - that Earth is our home.
So, when Jesus said that humble meek people will inherit the Earth he was Not talking about eternity in Heaven.
Everyone Jesus resurrected he resurrected back to life on Earth.
Jesus was giving us a preview, or coming attraction, of what he will do during his 1,000-year reign over Earth.
So, since even un-healthy people seek to stay alive on Earth, then I wonder why a perfectly healthy person would be scared of everlasting life on Earth, especially an Earth as described at Isaiah 35th chapter.

What Earth will be inherited if humans destroy it?

Since Creator God is from everlasting then God had No starting point, No beginning.
Kind of like we can count numbers, both forwards and backwards, forever and ever, everlastingly.

Or, rather I'm wishing for the start of a healthy-and-happy righteous new world to come for all.
To me praying for God's kingdom to come (thy kingdom come) is Not looking at an end but a New beginning.
What some people see as a sunset to others is a beautiful sunrise.
After all, Jesus did Not say to pray to be ' taken away ' to the kingdom, nor pray to be ^ taken up ^ to the kingdom.
Rather, by praying for the 'kingdom to come' we are praying that the same good conditions that exist in Heaven will also come to exist right here on Earth. That is also why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Revelation 22:20 for Jesus to come ! Come and bring the benefits of Revelation 22:2 to Earth when there will be healing for all of earth's nations.

Since Ecclesiastes 1:4 B says the 'Earth abides forever', then to me Earth is: everlasting.
That is how the humble meek people can inherit the Earth as promised at Psalms 37:9-11; Matthew 5:5.

The bible is a mixture of myth and history passed down as oral then as hand written now in all forms of media. You can see changes as you read through the bible as the image of god changes as the social conditions of the people change. Myth can be very symbolic often has important messages to those of that society who generate the myth. Needing it to be taken word for word as literal may decrease the understanding. This reminds me of what Allan Watts wrote in a book about Zen Buddhism when a Zen master was asked about the truth of some scriptures he answered "He who takes the finger pointing to the moon to be the moon, does he have wisdom?"
