I find there is a difference between credulity ( blind faith ) and confidence in the teachings of Jesus.
Bible faith is confidence in the teachings of Jesus.
The world scene shows what Jesus said is true - ( Matthew 24; Luke 21; Mark 13 )
The 'minor' fulfillment of Jesus' words came true in the year 70 when the Roman armies destroyed Jerusalem
The 'MAJOR' fulfillment is for our day, our time frame.
When the powers in charge are saying, " Peace and Security..." then that rosy saying will lead people down that Primrose Path instead of the surprisingly turning on the religious world. - 1st. Thess. 5:2-3
Just think: with backing the United Nations can be strengthened to turn on the religious world.
Even a bad economy can cause the political to easily take the wealth the religions have amassed through the international banking system.

I tried to do some research on this once and have forgotten most of it but here in Aus I seem to remember the Freckled Duck being one of the first to split from whatever they split from. Of course that's all probably changed since DNA, most of the stuff in my 1970's bird books was wrong.
