Reasons To Believe In Yeshua/Jesus Christ Our Lord

Sgt. Pepper

All you need is love.
I believe so.

Yes, that is your personal belief.

I believe God gives everyone an opportunity to be saved and that makes a lot of sense.

Even the wicked that he created for his own purpose?

"The LORD has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster." - Proverbs 16:4 (NLT)

For the record, Bible Hub provides several versions of this verse: Proverbs 16:4.

John 10:30 for one.
“I and my Father are one” (John 10:30) does not mean that Jesus IS God. It means that whatever pertains to Jesus, all His acts and doings, are identical with the Will of the Father. Jesus and God also share the same Holy Spirit, so in that sense they are one. Jesus also shares some (but not all) the Attributes of God so in that sense they are one.

The verse below says that God was manifest in the flesh; it does not say that God became flesh. God cannot become flesh because God is everlastingly hidden from the eyes of men. No one has ever seen God (John 1:18, 1 John 4:12). Many people saw Jesus so that means that Jesus was not God.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Jesus was a Manifestation of God and also a Servant of God and that is why Jesus said to the Jews:

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

John 10:37-38 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

For God so loved us all, that He sent His only Son, etc.

Why not just forgive without sending God's son to be sacrificed?

God being all powerful need not require anything from anybody. What was the point of making God's son suffer terrible torture?

I'll be brief. Because of what was going on in the universe.
He can and does forgive. But sending his Son was necessary.

I believe He does in His believers.
How convenient for Christians. Shows God only respects those who believe he's real, right? The rest he couldn't care if they disappeared tomorrow. If he cared he'd reveal himself to them if he loves them so much. But he doesn't appear to them and so he couldn't give two ships about them. Another one of those blind corners Christians are always painting themselves into.

Since you don't believe that God created the first man Adam, then of course you can't believe anything else about Jesus in reference to what the Bible says.
