in the New Jedi Order series of fictional books, aliens called the Yuuzhan Vong call the Jedi "Jeedai". hope that answers your question. I dont really know why i hated it in the firstplace, but because of all the wacko missionaries who say you'll burn if you dont join there religion, coupled with the fact that i would never bow to the will of a man dead for 2,000 years, and all the intolerance in the religion.

Well, being as how I'm christian, I reject non-christians. But within chritianity I don't like the quaker way of doing things. Everything they do clashes with my mormon leanings (no baptism, no sacrament, wierd concepts of god and jesus, anti-violence (not to say we are violent, but thier complete abhorrence to it, even to protect their family/property)) This isn't a very good situation for me to be in, either, because my family has been dragging me along with them to quaker church for a few years now.

I don't know of any established belief system that I actually hate.

I understand that religion may fill a need in a certain person's life, and as such, I have never disrespected their faith as long as they haven't resorted to proselytising -- and I've always respected them as a person. That does not mean I accept, nor respect their belief system.

The one most fundamental thing that seperates us from animals, is our ability to reason. This ability is highly visible in the things we have achieved, and it is far too often taken for granted. The terrifying truth is that we are are only sensible and reasonable creatures in part. We are extremely prone to irrationality. And as a human being, it is your duty to employ this gift of intellect and reason in a way that benefits us.

Reasonable people accept that tolerance is a good thing -- but that tolerance of evil things such as cruelty isn't. And some state that they are tolerant, but not of intolerance... Well, I'm intolerant of irrational and superstitious thinking.

I hold that rationality, logic and reason are the most important aspects amongst us as rational, intelligent beings.

And if you glue a rubber duckie to your head and tell me your are The Allmighty Tunafish, and that I better respect your faith, I'm not going to respect you, or your faith -- because that just doesn't make any damn sense now, does it?

If you tell me that a waifer becomes the actual, physical flesh of Jesus Christ -- sorry, that doesn't make any sense either. And making sense is what we all want to do -- the shroud of Turin was carbon dated because those who "belived in it" thought they could get genuine, reasonable, actual, sensible proof of what it was -- but when the carbon dating showed it to not be what they claimed it to be, they went back to relying on their "faith."

That's not reasonable. I don't accept it. And I don't respect it.

There isn't really any religions that I dismiss, there are some that I don't really find likely, but I am accepting of all.

I accept all people and their faiths. Everyone has a right to believe what they want. Having said that, I know which religion is true and which religions are not, but that has nothing to do with this poll.

I do not think Atheism should be classified as a religion and included in this poll. All religion has a common belief and faith, whereas Atheists could be very diversified in their "belief", and normally atheists do not consider faith and do not have a place of worhip, or centre of gathering to do communion or prayer or other practices of religious groups.
If you reject or hate any religion, then you are not a religious person. Or you are not truely practicing the religion you embrace. All religions teach love and tolerant, and respect for other religion.

There is only one class of religion that I reject: CULT practice.

Many people "hate" evangelical Christians because of their persistent in spreading the Gospel (Good News), like even resorting to threat of "you will suffer eternally in hell if you do not accept Jesus". However, if you open up your mind, and you will see that all these evangelical Christians are nice people just trying to share what they think and believe is best for them and for you, and it is out of LOVE, that they are working very hard evangelizing. If you can see from this perspective, then you may be able to accept them, and stop "hating" them.
Many people reject Islam because of the Western propaganda associating Muslim with Terrorism. In this case, ignorance results in intolerance.

Let us all embrace humanity, and love each other, and stop rejecting one another.:162:

One of our Articles of Faith states:
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

I feel that a basic human right (as well as God's plan) is freedom of choice. Hate does not come from God, only Love. To ridicule, persecute or hate someone for following their own conscience is not of God.

Sura V 72
Those who believe in the Quran
Those who follow the Jewish scriptures
And the Sabians and the Christians
And who believe in God
And the Last Day,
And work Righteousness
On them shall be no fear,
Nor shall they grieve

When I read this, I cant reject Christianity or Judaism. So I guess I reject everything but Islam, Christianity and Judaism.

Much like Objectivists, Satanists view Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and "New Age" religions as anti-natural, anti-human, and evil.

Satanists advocate Epicureanism, social stratification, and view spirituality as a myth.

I reject cults, especially the ones like Scientology.

But, as I don't consider cults actual religions, I don't really reject any religion.

Logically, doesn't the acceptance any one religion, imply the rejection of all others?

Many Wiccan denominations include the belief that there is no correct path to the god and goddess. The path can be tailored to the individual as long as certain essentials are held the same. Normally these essentials take the form of morality whilst rituals and the nature of the divine are fine to discard which enables certain Wiccans to accept certain religions more than others although the Abrahamic religions are generally more tricky.

This message board is generally extremely accepting and respectful to other religions. But, is there any religion that you strongly reject? Is it the religion you converted from you reject? Is it a religion that is the exact opposite of your own (like theists/non-theists)?
I voted "someone else".

My answer would be $cientology.
