Then you have a serious problem.
That aside...;)

... i've taken a hard line on this issue; one i've expressed in fair detail with only the redress that it's been:

- repeated :if so, deservedly.
- meaningless : an unqualified dismisal, for sure
- disrespectful : as in, my main point

Which brings me back to what i opened with:

You're wrong about this.

Drawing Mohammed is a friggin' terrific idea; so great, that i'm surprised it took this long to make an event of it.

Sorry to say that while it's a radical fringe that provoked it, this was a long time coming;
hurting the "moderate" muslim world really shouldn't concern us any more.

You all deserve this.

That's right. I said it.

Call me hawkish if you like, but you sooo- seriously-deserve to have cartoons drawn about your prophet.

Well, what can i say, it's your opinion (which happens to be disgusting) and you are entitled to it.

Do you mean as in punishing an entire religion for the mistakes of a few radicals? Should everyone go around crapping on crucifixes because of the KKK? Should everyone go and shoot up pictures of Guru Nanak because of the assassination of Indira Gandhi? Idiot.

Bwah?

Opinion, yes.
Disgusting?

Really?

Is this so bad?

Are you so morally crippled that you would discribe it as such?

"Morally crippled". Are you insane?

You have generalized against an entire community of people due to the action of a few bunch of them, and you are wondering if I'm morally crippled.

Punishment? I don't consider it such; if it is, it's very far from a harsh one.

It's a statement of what is tolerable and what is respectful; one is expected in a free society, the other, while optimal, is given at our own leisure.

Should everyone go around crapping on crucifixes because of the KKK?
If you want.

Should everyone go and shoot up pictures of Guru Nanak because of the assassination of Indira Gandhi?
Knock yourself out.

Oh?

Is that all it takes?

Oh? Do tell?
Considering the zeal with which facebook bans racist related pages, I would have expected another approach to the event. Obviously it was foolish to assume that Muslims would enjoy the same benefit.

It should be legal to insult anyone or anything.

That being said, anyone who insults things on unfounded basis's for no reason are douche bags.
Most douche bags learn they are douche bags once it becomes public or documented and they have to chance to reflect on their own douchiness.

What's that old saying? People are mirrors, they are talking to their reflection when they refer to externalities.

No, just the constant victim of character assassination ;)

Actually, i've yet to do that.

congrats! at last you said something meaningful
Well, i do aim to please.

I'm just so happy that your last post wasn't in such broken english; in the spirit of this (supposed) international forum were many low functioning english speakers participate, i'm just content that i was able understand you without pointing and gesturing.

A good point, but ought we not consider race and religion to be seperate entities?

Perhaps you should stop embarrassing yourself, and insulting others, with your ignorant statements. Do you have something useful to say aside from the trash you have been spreading here lately?

It's the internet. If i want to embarrass myself, i'll post a picture of my tiny penis.
...and insulting others,...
Et tu, brutus?

... with your ignorant statements.
Psst...you're in no position to qualify them as such...

...particularly as you've done practically nothing to address them and/or show them to anything but loosely distasteful to your palate;

That being the case, i might be tempted to say that the truth can be hard to swallow, no?

Do you have something useful to say aside from the trash you have been spreading here lately?
Useful?

I've given the position of some participating in the May 20th event...

...isn't that useful?

If no, perhaps this thread should be moved from the "debate" section to the "hugbox".

I've acknowledged a distinction between different factions and the severity geared towards the may 20th participants.

How's that a generalisation?

So pages should be selectively decided on whether to be banned or not? It is is ok to senselessly bash a religion in worst way possible, but inexcusable to bash a specific race? Who makes the distinction and what is the justification?

In addition to that, the page had many repeated cases of racist depictions of Arabs and Arab culture. Either way there was no excuse for that page

Your posts speak for themselves. You make it too easy. Why should i bother exposing the obvious? I don't have to really.

As for your position on the matter, sure you made that clear, and that is exactly why it is useless.
