It doesn't even necessarily seem like he was basing his angry reaction to a well-thought out historical excavation of her ancestry.

Seems like he just got pissed off and that was his way of telling her to **** off.

I don't think it's absurd to brush this off as something that isn't really that important.

The idea that America is somehow infested with Nazis is pretty ridiculous, absurd and - at this point - really tiresome to a lot of people; so you're going to get reactions like this nowadays when people suggest that Nazism and white supremacy are genuine threats in the USA.

The left dosent like to to admit things have gotten better.

They want to convince people that racists are everywhere including under one's bed and closet just waiting to snatch a person and nothing has changed from the 50s and 60s.

Gone are the days of Klan parades and Nazi rallies in the convention center.

The "Alt Right" totally imploded after that. That was their last and biggest hurrah. The WN movement still hasn't recovered from it. All of their leaders were disgraced, sued into oblivion, got themselves into legal trouble (even outside of what happened there) and turned on each other. Pretty much all the groups that took part folded.

They don't. This particular rally was way back in 2017 protesting the removal of the statue of the General Lee in a time arguably where the left wing was far more violent and destructive that the protesters seen here.

And yes I defend even racists and bigots and their right to protest in a free country as long as it dosent end in riots, looting, and death in no particular order.

Foreman stood up and angrily interjected, using an expletive to criticize what he cast as the liberal bent of the response, according to the release and people present at the forum.​

That's true, but people like Nick Fuentes and other groypers are still gaining traction. Hopefully that doesn't go anywhere, but we'll see
