Had to double check a few things. Can I ask, out of curiosity, what qualifies as full time hours in the US?
Ours is by law 38 per week, minimum. (Obviously people work more thank that. Up to 45 for many industries I think. But both parties have to agree.)
Generally full time is 40 hours, and afted that does federally entitle you to time and a half with pay.
The ACA requires coverage at 30 hours. Yes, I myself would have lost several hours a week if I did those jobs, but most people didn't get those hours. It was the openers, closers, and overnighters who got the hours. Like the gas station. I'd be scheduled for 32 hours, with a few more hours being added from shift change stuff (except I zoomed through it like a high octane speed freak to get out). The way scheduling is there I'd probably be getting scheduled 24 hours a week. Which is what most people got. Then there would be a couple who got even less, people who were basically just there when me or a few others weren't.
