Where did my post go?

Weird. Once more... I'm currently DMing a D&D 3.5 game with really great players. I've got a dwarven cleric as the leader, a human fighter/sorcerer who traded being bound to a wizard to being bound to a half-celestial, half-fiend (hahaha...), an insane, tinkering halfling rogue/sorcerer, an amnesiac human barbarian/fighter who used to be a brilliant general before the concussion, but is now dumb as a brick, and an innocent and simple human who is being slowly twisted into being diabolical, methodical and quite selfish because of a great axe he found in the snow. Two of my PCs wrote songs for their characters... I laughed so hard tears streamed down my face.

I am also preparing a Shadowrun 4th Edition game to play with my husband one-on-one so we can learn the new rules.

I'm not as big of a Rifts fan as Jewscout is... the universe is just too big and it takes the emphasis off of the characters. I've played other systems... Vampire, Exalted, Spycraft... but D&D and Shadowrun are the absolute best.

I love PC games like Dungeon Seige, Icewind Dale, Torment and Diablo when I absolutely must hack and slash, but it is nowhere near as fun as table-top RPGs with a good group. Real people come up with much more creative solutions to challenges than is possible in a computer game.

i enjoy Paladium alot, but i agree it alot of crap to deal w/
but i think once you get passed the numbers character development is good...plus you can make like any kind of character type...you just gotta have a PhD. in Rifts Megaverse.

I prefer tabletop games, honestly. I love the White Wolf games (Vampire, Mage, Werewolf), but on second edition. They screwed everything up with 3rd edition. My friends and I also spend a good bit of time making up our own games.

I tried to play Xenogears a little over a year ago (after playing Xenosaga and loving it!), but I couldn't really get past the graphics.

Anyone ever play Tunnles and Trolls? LOL! It's like the simplest, bare bones game every made. Played with all 6-siders. Very old school.

Some funny vids about gaming...I had to wait until I got 15 posts under my belt to post urls.

Can anyone here relate to the following? I've had at least each one of these players in my group at one time or another over the years. (worksafe video)

Anybody ever play Magic the card game?

No, but I did used to play this christian version called Redemption. It was a good game and I still have thousands of the cards. They aren't as valueble as Magic but not too bad. I need to Ebay these things and get some cash for 'em.

im currently finishing off prince of persia, the two thrones..... it was a good game (im on the last boss, stupid throwing bricks smashing my head not letting me win *throws tantrum*) but i was a bit disappointed with the general story........ you only get to play with the dark prince a few times, and he is totally better to play with than the normal prince ........ and how many innuendos can you get in one sentance?

I played the first one. I own the 2nd one and plan on owning the 3rd and 4th (when it comes out). Too busy playing World of Warcraft. Anybody play Resident Evil 4? One of the best games I've ever played.

The new Onamusha is out and I rented it. I didn't much care for it. It had that anima feel to it. Some of the characters were a bit cartoony and the plot is so twisted it makes no sense. My buddy plays RE 4 and he agrees with you.

KotOR is still my favorite console RPG, Diablo was one of my favorites, until Duriel killed me 30 times (literally) until i finally figured out how to kill him, Prince of Qin is a fun, albeit horrible dialogue and graphics, game for the PC, you can pick it up for about $5 at Ross. I'm not really into tabletop games, especially after i saw http://http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7521044027821122670&q=Fear+of+Girls&pl=true

Video games are my realm

Although I am currentley intrigued with World of Warcraft.......still haven't decided if I'll buy it.
Its a great game. I have been playing it on and off for over a year. It's great to play and socialize in.

I use to play alot of table tops, but I don't know alot of people who are into them anymore. I usually play online and console games now. World of Warcraft and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are my current addictions. It used to be D2:LOD, until I got WOW.

Well, I went and did it. I have always been tempted to do it but have fought the urges. I gave in last night though. I feel so dirty. I bought a Game Shark...

Heh. 90% of my games are either RPGs or Strategies.

Chrono Trigger is the absolute best RPG there ever was. Tales of Phantasia is near it. Diablo 2 was good for a while. Tales of Symphonia was good too. I was hooked on Neverwinter Nights for half a year. I don't have a PS1 or a PS2, so I haven't played any of the new FF games, only the old ones, which are kinda "meh" by today's standards.
