On the contrary, I have often wondered why I am as masochistic as I am. I have been since I can remember (4 y/o); it just seems to be a sexuality like being straight or gay is. If we were discussing pedophilia, would you be this nonchalant? How does hurting and humiliating someone become OK just because you find it sexually stimulating? How does someone hurting and humiliating you become OK just because you find it sexually stimulating? If how it makes you feel is the criteria for acceptability, then why do we outlaw pedophilia? Lots of kids like how it makes them feel, and agree to participate in it. If the only inhibition is their level of maturity, then perhaps there is maturity problem with adults who like to abuse others, or to be abused by others, sexually.
