Seconded.. lol
I still think this is not as good as their first album, but it is great regardless.

Lol... if you go back through the thread I posted their old material ages ago. Yea they're like completely detouring around the central Midwest so I'm not going to see them. I'm not taking a Chicago-Detroit trip even though I completely love them.

I can't think of Satanic music as anything more than really what you enjoy, regardless of what others think. Perhaps a guilty pleasure sort of music?
And what's with that Ghost band? They sound really cool, but with the first video I see a band from a few decades ago, even their sound sounds very early, early metal and progressive, which I am really digging. Actually they sound like I wouldn't mind throwing them into my playlist with bands like Sabbath, B.O.C., The Doors, Kansas, and other progressive and early metal bands.
I must say thank you for introducing me to a band that sounds so awesome but yet so much like any other good similar sounding bands (which really is what any good bands of their genre sound like, save for a very few examples). But, yeah, they sound like a great addition to my music library.

I'm listening to their Opus Eponymous album on Youtube, and if I like what I hear (which so far I am loving it) I will be downloading it later on.

Ghost even sounds great sober! It's pretty cool they have a new album, out here at least, tomorrow.
Damn their Opus Eponymous album is some good stuff.
Now if only his pitch went falseto during, I think the song is Elizibeth, to make the song sound even more like Merciful Fate. Actually I think I would love hearing King Diamond sing that song.

FYI, new Ghost album is incredibly good. They took everything that was right about Opus Eponymous and stepped it up. Plus, it sounds incredible for all of the audio nerds around.

I've always liked this song by Bathory dedicated to the blood-stained legacy of Countess Elizabeth Bathory. She was a murderer and a vampire who bathed in female virgin blood in order to remanifest her youth. Judge her as you will.

Unfortunately not that many bands do come to Indiana. I've been to a few shows in which it was the first time in a decade or more since the artist's last appearance in Indiana. The up-and-coming one to end the decade hiatus is Paul McCartney during the summer. Everybody else (that I would be interested in seeing anyways) tends to make regular stops here, such as Styx (I've seen them a bunch of times), Rob Zombie (although if he is here on his own it's in a smaller venue that he sells out way too fast), Heart (John Bonham is going to be with them when I get to see them this year!), and a few others that are doing a show over the summer here.
One that isn't a too frequent regular is Opeth, who I am going to see next month, two days before my graduation. And then the rest of my concert schedule is Manson and Cooper, Mayhem Tour, and Heart in July, and if I am still here Styx in August. If I had the money I would go and see even more because this year isn't too bad of a concert schedule. I'm kicking myself for missing Icon of Coil a couple months ago.
