does it say he would someday return ?
No, Jesus said He would not return to this world.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Jesus warned of false prophets because there have been many false prophets...
Jesus warned of men coming claiming to be Christ because many men have come claiming to be Christ...

None of these warnings change the fact that Jesus said He would not return to this world.
Jesus never promised to return to this world, not even once in the entire New Testament.
That means that 'the return of Christ' has to be another man.

maybe you did not see the word "presence " in the verse ,hummm ,why? presence = person or thing that exists or is present in a place but is not seen .

did you see "5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many."
many will be saying Jesus is the christ, that is true . but what will be being said will be lies.

Don't really believe in any First Coming, so this prediction makes no sense either.

Is one's believing ( as one said " I believe") out of blind-faith, or is it reason based , please, right?
Did Jesus/Yeshua- the Israelite Messiah, ever like a blind faith, please, right?
If yes, then kindly quote from him, please. Right?

Regards
You think I should simply accept some particular writing from the past as being sufficient evidence for a Jesus as depicted? Not going to happen I'm afraid, and I would need better evidence. So why would I believe a Second Coming when the first is still doubtful - as being The Son of God, and all the rest?

Well that is not my thinking, please, right?
Yeshua's First Coming was :
  1. never as a god
  2. or son of god
  3. or begotten son of god
  4. he never believed in any trinity
  5. and never died on the Cross
  6. and never raised from the dead
These are all unreasonable creeds fabricated later, please, right?
Just accept Jesus in Frist Coming
  1. as s/o Mary,
  2. a human being,
  3. an Israelite,
  4. a follower of Moses .
Isn't it reasonable, please?
Right?

As if Baha'is believe the Bible or the NT or the gospel of John literally. Those verse TB quotes are before the resurrection appearances, so they don't make literal sense anyway, because they did see him in the world again... and then he left again as they supposedly watched him ascend into the clouds.

The other problem, not for literal-believing Christians, but some of us doubters and I think for Baha'is also, is that John is quoting Jesus giving a very long speech, after several years he remembered exactly what Jesus said? I don't think so, and I don't think most Baha'is would think so. The only reason TB uses it, constantly, is to use the NT against Christians that do take it literally. But she only uses those few verses over and over again as if it proves something. And it does, she and other Baha'is don't really believe in the Bible and the NT. Which is fine with me, except they claim they do, and they cherry-pick it to find those special verses that they can use to prove that their prophet is the return of Christ.

Is it reasonable? No. Given that the written material is not sufficient evidence and is not sufficiently supported by any impartial and independent evidence. Do you believe all historical writings or just the ones that appeal?

I believe He will show up just before the battle of Armageddon at the Mount of Olives.

The Bible says Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem, at the end of the 7 year Tribulation period, to save the nation of Israel from destruction when the Antichrist and the armies of the world are gathered to destroy Israel.
How is it worded and how are you guys interpreting it to be so sure it is Jesus? I know at the end of Revelation someone tells John that they are coming, and John says "Yes, come Lord Jesus."

Here's the quote from the NIV "Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." I think the "Lamb" is clearly Jesus, but for Baha'is they point to the verse that says that this person that returns will have a new name. So, how do Christians explain that?

I agree the Lamb is clearly Jesus and it is Jesus Who is coming soon. I believe the entire book of Revelation is about the revelation of and return of Jesus Christ in His glory to deal with and rule the nations.

I don’t think the reference in Revelation 2:17 to a new name is in reference to Jesus Christ or His name because it is Christ who is speaking. Rather, He is saying He will give a new name to those who have overcome.

I believe it is an RF rule that nothing can be known that everything is a belief. I believe because God says So. I believe He is the most trustworthy source one can get.

I believe He stated that the person with blind faith was blessed. For me I am like the apostles who were able to touch the risen Jesus.

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
