So...I've officially started testosterone therapy!

Just got back from the doctor's office where I got a shot of Depo-Testosterone in my right butt cheek. I feel so accomplished. So fitting that my rebirth occurs in spring. I still can't believe it's actually happening, after almost 6 years of waiting and disappointment.

I have to get the shots every two weeks, so I go back next week. They're supposed to show me how to do it myself and I should be getting my prescription then.

How fast you experience changes varies by person. I haven't noticed or felt much. But I'm a larger person and so it would take a bit longer for the hormone to go through my system. Most guys report a higher libido, clitoral growth and some voice cracking first. I've probably experienced one of those and I'll leave you to guess which.

If anyone is interested in knowing, I've noticed more hair growing on my arms and hands and probably my legs, thighs and stomach. It can be a bit hard to tell since I was already hairy and my hair is dark! But there's definitely more hair than before.

I also feel more confident and more at home in my body.

Lol. No, I haven't had a surge in libido. It's the same as it's been for a long time. Maybe it'll happen later. Or maybe it won't happen. I don't know. It's different for everyone. I'm at a very early stage of it.
