i don't understand why you would think anything is wrong with you
Really? LOL. I have to tell you. Jesus thinks that is really funny.

Are there actually people who think that there is nothing wrong with them?

I wanted to know how does consciousness continue apart from the brain. If you make a statement consciousness continues after death (however you phrased it) what are you basing your statement on?

Consciousness not intelligence.
they are the same thing. you are suggesting that consciousness arises and collapses with a brain. show me any peer reviewed study that makes that claim with evidence, please?

I dont know how this connects to my comment
you keep claiming a brain is necessary for consciousness. consciousness isn't awareness of things outside of self, nor is it awareness of things within self. it's just awareness of either.

How did you come to that conclusion-movement and vibration?
movement, or vibration, the idea of an action vs a form, or energy vs matter. matter is just energy vibrating at a lower frenquency and appearing denser.

It just means awareness. It ends when our brains die.
then what happens when the slime mold dies and having no brain? what happens to the plant consciousness when the plant dies has no brain. consciousness resides in electrical impulses. electromagnetism is a fundamental of the universe. magnets create electrical fields and electricity creates magnetic fields. EM fields can cause the brain to have delusions and visions. the electricity carries the intelligence within itself

If it continues, how so? (Not proof that it does just support of your statement)
based on two know things 1st law of thermodynamics. consciousness is dynamic. the other is the quantum no-hiding theorem. information cannot be created/destroyed it is simply transferred from one system to another.

now show me evidence that brains are conscious without electrical impulses, please?

What is the difference between a plant and a rock? between something that lives/moves vs. something that does not?

Do you honestly need someone to explain this to you? Simply Google, What Makes Something Alive in Biology?

Rocks are always the best! And, they need no explanation. Did you ever see anyone trying to explain a rock?

The Problem With Defining Life

"Defining life poses a challenge that’s downright philosophical. There’s no ambiguity in looking for water, because we have a clear definition of it. That definition is the same whether you’re on Earth, on Mars, or in intergalactic space. It is the same whether you’re dealing with water as ice, liquid, or vapor. But there is no definition of life that’s universally agreed upon. When Portland State University biologist Radu Popa was working on a book about defining life, he decided to count up all the definitions that scientists have published in books and scientific journals. Some scientists define life as something capable of metabolism. Others make the capacity to evolve the key distinction. Popa gave up counting after about 300 definitions." - link

And what the heck does any of that have to do with whether or not plants possess consciousness?

Consciousness is not the same as intelligence.

You showed me evidence that intelligence continues after death. While I said that word isnt one Id use; because, it assumes plants, animals, and humans are "smart" after death, of the idea-working of the physical brain after death is not the same as mental awareness. One deals with the brain and the other mind

There are different levels of consciousness/awareness (read the link; I already gave you a couple on consciousness)

What Does Level of Consciousness Mean in Medicine?

Levels of Consciousness: Definition & Characteristics | Study.com

This is basic medical science. What is consciousness without brain function?

Intelligence. You gave me links. Here are mine

Think this is the one you gave me
Here's What Happens to Your Brain When You Die

You have to read the links I already gave you

they are the same thing. you are suggesting that consciousness arises and collapses with a brain. show me any peer reviewed study that makes that claim with evidence, please?

Levels of consciousness happens a lot of times when there jd s traumatic brain injury. When there is no communication kn the brain (above links) the brain starts to shut down. When the brain dies, it does not pick up anymore information. Consciousness isnt tangent (as you repeated to me) therefore, there is "nothing" to continue after death. Basic medical knowledge.

Unless you talking about something spiritual???

you keep claiming a brain is necessary for consciousness. consciousness isn't awareness of things outside of self, nor is it awareness of things within self. it's just awareness of either.

Of course it is. Have no clue what consciousness you speak of. Awareness and retrieval of info dies with the brain. Intelligence (as your links described) still function on already give info in some animals a min or so sfter death.

Thats in your link. Did you read your links before you posted it?

Id say thats more inlligence. Consciousness just means awareness. Its not any "thing".

Consciousness means awareness. Are you saying we have six senses after death???

Huh???

now show me evidence that brains are conscious without elect

If your thoughts are electro-chemical reactions then no, not from nothing, nothing does not exist, since we do exist it is acceptable to suggest that they are part of reality and therefore are something. As nothing is not existing in the 4 dimensions we exist within. Nothing can't be tested because it simple isn't there.

absolute nothing vs no thing as in having some form

That is hardly a definition of nothing, you have identified both nothing without dimensions etc vs nothing with dimensions. I feel some confusion.

Intrinsically, there's nothing wrong with any of us. We see ourselves "through a glass, darkly" unfortunately. Sometimes very darkly, which is often very painful. Wouldn't it be great to be able to clean that glass? Wooo... metaphysical Windex. Love it.

I know there is something definitely wrong with me.
Impossible. You, along with the rest of us, are included in "It". You can call it God, or consciousness, or the universe, whatever, but it's one thing. It would seem inherently impossible for a thing to exist in contradiction to itself.
Now if you want to talk the view. Man, can we write scenarios or what? This is a very, very interesting attribute of being. I love it and hate it. (One of the early lessons when learning to walk, by-the-way, is how to avoid stepping in stuff.)

isn't that being judgemental? i would think we all could strive to be loving and knowledgeable but if we're already overwhelmed with responsibilities elsewhere that is wronging ourselves.

being a servant to all doesn't exclude self.

no thing is not nothing. no thing is without dimension, yes. it is formless, indefinite, infinite. like the Absolute is no thing exclusively because there is nothing to contrast it to.

spiritual = mental. it is the mind that is boundless, infinite, and eternal.

consciousness and intelligence both have to do with mind.

consciousness literally means to be aware
intelligence literally means to be discerning, understanding, .................

aware means to be mindful, informed, knowledgeable..........................
discern means understand, comprehend, grasp, see............................

all of these are actions of the mind. a mind doesn't have an exact form. it creates forms and acts upon forms.

case in point, epigenetics, because of changes in the environment there are changes in the phenotype but not in the genotype. the form changes due to perceived changes in the environment.

the spirit, the mental, creates and acts upon the form. this is why jesus said the flesh, the form, counts for nothing, the mental is everything

Why are you introducing no thing? I never mentioned no thing
