120. This means what? We believe Jesus to be about 33 when he was crucified. Do you want to subvert faith to some sort of trivia contest? If so, why?Without looking it up... how old was Moses when he died?

The book tells you everything. Without it, you know nothing.
Dude... I am calm. I just find your line of reasoning to be specious and WAY off topic. Start a different thread to play your trivia crap. You can also start one for charades if you like.Dude... it's 1:42 am, and I've got nothing better to do.
Calm down.
Yes, it most certainly does. Fortunately, I have the intellectual honesty to both see and admit that.
Sorry, but you will have to stick to a common vocabulary here if you expect me to be able to answer your questions. Since I don't comprehend what you meant by "authorism", I looked it up on Dictionary.com. Unfortunately, rather than learning a new word, I got this message:Oh, cool. So, then, maybe you can explain to us what your athorism belief system entails.

Sorry, it had completely baffled me. Let me look at your question again in light of this re-understanding.Sorry, I thought you would remember what a word meant from one post to the next. How about this "A-Thorism", as in the Thor equivalent of "A-Theism"?
Indeed, I am an avowed a-thorist. I fully reject the stories about Valhalla based on the evidence to me that there is only one God and that Thor ain't him. However, I don't feel that my belief in the one true God makes me any smarter/stronger/whatever than those who did believe in Thor. On the contrary, I am certain that they followed the evidence they had to it's logical conclusion in their belief that he existed.Oh, cool. I hope that helps.
Perhaps professional therapy is in order then (Sorry, I couldn't resist)Not really.

Faith and belief are often maligned by those who use it. Some perceive it as some sort of weakness ONLY BECAUSE they just can't see how much they rely on both. NO ONE is superior by their belief or disbelief in a God (even if it's Thor).I see. Technically, Pete, your lack of belief in Thor is superceded by your belief system. I wonder, then, if it wouldn't be more appropriate to say that the atheist has a belief system that supercedes lack of belief in "God".
