Tennessee sees new step in wave of anti-Trans bills

I showed you why I have the legal permission to be there. You do not.
Oh?

Are you talking about that routine medical form

I fail to see how that gives you any legal permissions in public places.

And even if it did - do you carry it with you at all times?

Kinda like a "biological sex ID"? I thought you didn't like that idea.
That is harassment.
I have just as much right to go in there as you do - more so considering that my wife is in there and I'm going in to make sure that she is safe.

If anything - you are more likely to be harassing my wife - because she wouldn't want a man in the restroom with her - giving her a reasonable fear of personal injury.
I don't believe guns should be banned, so way to add to your dumb crap and wild assumptions.
So you believe that everyone in the U.S. has the right to purchase and own a gun?
There's lots of different ways to get health benefits. Like exercise. But thats not the only method of getting certain health benefits.
Of course it isn't - but if you can obtain the same health benefits from other activities and foods - what use is there for alcohol?

You don't need to "moderate" fruit juices high in antioxidants or foods packed with "good cholesterol".

No risk of becoming inebriated and threatening the safety of yourself and others - not to mention any dumb mistakes made while drunk.
See how dumb that is? The benefits that come from moderate drinking come from the drink. You can't get it another way.
You failed to quote from your own source again - even after I asked you.

Tell me exactly where in your source does it say that the "health benefits" that they claim can come from alcohol can only come from alcohol.

And for the I don't know how many times it is legal for me to use the women's restroom in Indiana. You didn't use the word harassment, but trying to stop from using the restroom because of vigilante bull**** IS harassment.

More bad, wild assumptions. Just stop.

In other words if I say something you agree with that is equally dumb as your crap.
And, BTW, Frank would have a HUGE problem using the women's restroom. It's where you'd put him and he doesn't belong. Seriously, he's got a big beard, amd I think he even has his septum pierced. Or at least I think he does. He's definitely manly and masculine enough to pull it off and it just be there in my head.

Except it has nothing to do with bathrooms.
Yeah, my septum is pierced. I had it at 6g at one point, and had to painfully force it (rip it) to get to there. Extreme radiating pain. I was dumb. I think it's currently at 8g or 10g, with what I have in it now.

Wtf happened to this thread? So nasty. o_O

That sounds painful. I'm about done getting pierced. The clamp for my tongue was excruciating, but it's fun to use. :D

I know right, all the people here on RF are fine upstanding folks, especially the Christian fundamentalists and hardcore conservatives; I don't know where all these transphobic comments came from either, I swear must have been a bunch of SJW antifa communists.

What does "transphobic" mean and can you point out examples of "transphobic" comments made on this thread?

Uhhh....yeah, I think I saw that thing they wear.
especially the Christian fundamentalists and hardcore conservatives;
I picked up a heterosexual couple the other day (I drive rideshare) and they had a big Devin Nunes and vote Republican sign in their yard. With what the lady was wearing I was able to see her entire upper half save for a couple of padded inches around her nipples. Apparently everybody else is supposed to have the family values and modestly dressed.

So - let me get this straight - you believe that you are free to claim that how a random woman decides to dress - a woman that you cannot conclusively state was either a heterosexual or Republican - somehow reflects on "Republican" family values and modes of dress?

You believe that is appropriate - while I am somehow a bad guy for stating that it is a demonstrable biological fact that there are only two sexes and genders and that no one can change their biological sex?

I can't state conclusively she was heterosexual and she was Republican? She was with her husband and she has a sign in her yard supporting a Republican Congressman. Where do you get off on saying I can't definitely say she's hetero and Republican?
And, yeah, I can point out hypocrisy. They harp on about family values and preach moral goodness, but it seems they don't really much apply it to themselves. Like Congressmen such as Gingrich who have been divorced and remarried multiple times.
Amd don't forget, you're the "bad guy" for saying you'd harass me for using the appropriate restroom. Because you think it's ok to prime people to be on the lookout for those like me. You're the "bad guy" because you won't mind your own damn business. Seriously, if you tried to stop me--even in Indiana--it's likely I'd sue because the law is on my side and I do have chronic conditions that could be aggravated from the needless stress and the extra time of having to hold it (which is actually good for no one to do). And because I'd be angry enough to be a total ***** over this, I'd probably just add in how I'm also autistic and milk that for what it's worth.
And I'd smile while giving your money to trans advocacy groups, support programs, and other such assistance groups because you couldn't mind your own business.

1. Personal Comments About Members and Staff
Personal attacks and name-calling, whether direct or in the third person, are strictly prohibited on the forums. Critique each other's ideas all you want, but under no circumstances personally attack each other or the staff. Quoting a member's post in a separate/new thread without their permission to challenge or belittle them, or harassing staff members for performing moderation duties, will also be considered a personal attack.

3. Trolling and Bullying
Where Rule 1 covers personal attacks, Rule 3 governs other behaviors and content that can generally be described as being a jerk. Unacceptable behaviors and content include:

1) Content (whether words or images) that most people would find needlessly offensive, especially when such content is posted just to get a rise out of somebody and/or is not part of a reasoned argument.

2) Defamation, slander, or misrepresentation of a member's beliefs/arguments, or that of a particular group, culture, or religion. This includes altering the words of another member to change their meaning when using the quote feature.

3) Antagonism, bullying, or harassment - including but not limited to personal attacks, slander, and misrepresentation - of a member across multiple content areas of the forums. Repeatedly targeting or harassing members of particular groups will also be considered bullying.

9. Subverting/Undermining the Forum Mission
The mission of Religious Forums is to provide a civil, informative, respectful, and welcoming environment where people of diverse beliefs can discuss, compare, and debate. Content members create while debating and discussing must be done in the spirit of productivity. Bashing other forums, creating unproductive content or responses to others, attempting to use this site as a platform for campaigning for or against or furthering a personal agenda, and attempting to undermine the forum mission may result in moderation.

I haven't been messed with, just odd, weird, puzzled looks trying to figure out if I belong there or not.
I really don't think FP realizes a lot of us just go about our lives like everybody else. He thinks were all trying to force things on people, but a couple friends considered me one if the girls anyways before I came out. When someone calls me miss, ma'am, young lady or whatever I didn't even ask for it to happen. It just does. Nothing nefarious. No screaming or shouting. No preaching ideology. Just mundane crap like anyone else. I just get to enjoy the fact women's clothing tends to fit me better than men's. And enjoy being treated like a woman. When it's a good interaction. I could do without the sexual harassment. I didn't like the guys who kept doing an endless barrage of short car horn blasts from his truck to get my attention either. I feel flattered but that horn was irritating, lmao.
I have gotten weird looks for using the bathroom once. It was a “women’s emergency” and in my haste I accidentally went into the men’s restroom. No one was injured or raped. I was slightly embarrassed when I realised my mistake though.
Oh the horror!

Why? Does your wife check for penis by groping everyone else who's in the restroom with her or something? Sounds like she's the one doing the harassing.
Also, it's odd that you would rather have her share the restroom with burly, bearded transmen (born biologically female), which I'm sure would cause far more shrieking.

Been there, done that! :D
It’s why I’ve never understood this hysteria (and yes I consider it hysteria) around trans people using bathrooms after (or even during) transitioning. Like most people have likely accidentally went into the wrong bathroom at least once. Nothing nefarious has ever happened as a result.
If a predator wants to use the bathroom for nefarious means, it’s not like there’s any set of laws or magical forcefields to prevent them doing so. Nothing is technically stopping them doing so now. Well except for consent laws which they disregard anyway. So how would allowing trans women using the women’s bathroom do anything to stop or encourage an already existing (but thankfully not very frequent) phenomenon?

What would be more likely to happen is he'd look right past me amd stop my friend who's not really feminine at all. Her hair length, which isnt even that long, is as girly as it gets with her. Other than that she's basically one of the guys. Sometimes she even gets called sir. She even very typically wears men's clothing.
I'm sure he thinks he would stop me and ignore her, but experience and knowledge tell me otherwise. People go by the first queues they see and rarely give a second thought or look.

Years ago my dad had to run to bathroom. He hurries in, goes to a stall, and I forget how exactly the story goes but the lady in the stall next to him "John?" Turns out this lady is an old friend of my parents. He was mega embarrassed, she didn't let him live it down for awhile, and that was it.

Trans folk have been using the RRs for the genders they identify with for decades. If these assault concerns were credible then substantial records of such attacks should easily be procured.

Exactly. Are they going to ban "butch" looking women from female restrooms? And you know they would through a much bigger fit if they got what they wanted.and forced transmen to share the restroom with women.
