You'd be amazed at what we can get here in Texas, especially the cities. The selection here is incredible.

I love La Fin du Monde as well, btw. Definitely one of my all-time favorites!
Of all the Unibroue beers, I think I like Chambly Noir the best... though I really do like the story behind Maudite.

I must say, I do prefer a good ENGLISH CIDER to beer! Strongbow, Woodpecker, etc...

As for beer in Texas: Shiner Bock is money!

I haven't had many ciders...Just Horsby's so far. But I really like it. I wanna go to one of the local bars that has a better selection and sample :drunk:

Shiner Bock was the first beer I actually liked :D

Patron gets me into big trouble. Every time. I tend to end up making out with random people.... Which isn't like me at all

Haha I'm more of a whiskey girl than tequila. Or rum. Mmm mmm.

Gin is possibly the worst alcohol ever!!!!

I do like the rum and have a bad story to tell about it when I was in England!!!!!

I don't drink the hard alcohol these days, lest it be Absinthe.

I never used to like Gin...but the slight spice it has combined with the citrus of tonic water can be good. Although I only drink Bombay Sapphire.

Haha Do tell! I love drinking stories :p

I've never had Absinthe....but I've always been intrigued.
The hard alcohol gets to my stomach after a while....But I think that's for two reasons. 1) I have ulcer problems anyways. 2) the way I usually make my mixed drinks, I really might as well just drink the liquor straight... I'd say one shot of coke/tonic/whatever for about every 3 shots of liquor  Sometimes stronger.... I never go weaker than 1/2 and 1/2

Woodchuck is a nice brand of cider, too. They have a pretty nice variety of flavors.

I'm pretty sure I saw it over at the Old Monk or Ginger Man (local beer havens..). I'll have to try it next chance I get to go :D
Unfortunately, I don't get the chance to actually go to an establishment and drink almost ever..... :(

Coke will kill you quicker than alcohol straight!

Give me a minute or two and I'll tell you my story or I'll PM you about it!

Absinthe is good! Good stuff, good stuff.
