Personally, I'd have no problem with the united states no longer taking Middle Eastern crude. I also have no problem with us not offering the Middle East any aid whatsoever. The sooner the west gets out of the region all together, the happier everyone will be.

I think this may be a case of Westerners being lumped together as a unit. This happens to Muslims Asians and Africans in our media and behind closed doors also. It shouldn't be surprising that other cultures stereotype white people the way we stereotype them sometimes.

you're absolutely right about STEREOTYPING,but the great quran solved this historical problem in such a miraculous way and in only a single part of one verse:

Are you sure of that ? I am not sure what history has revealed in America, but in England there have been 'strange' exports of Arms shipments to Countries that neighbour ones to whom we would never sell arms; and, in each case, there has been the sanction by a politician who has concurrently received a 'gift'.

There are... there also many in China, and Asia, and India. There are abundant natural reasources in Africa and the middle east (hence many of these problems), as well as throughout the globe.

Its Geography my friend, the futher North you go
, the more water you have, and rivers, forests, etc. That's got nothing it do with justice. Just the way the Earth spins around the Sun.

Asia has a lot more people than the US. A lot of India's starvation and poverty is caused by an overly beauracratic government. We didn't cause any of that. We also didn't take anybody's rights.

Haven't been to the South East, huh. I've never seen so many trees in my life! I grew up in Utah, so I hardly knew what a tree looked like . Now I'm living in Virginia. You can't see the beautiful scenary for all of the trees.

In the west, about 300 years ago we began an experiment of social liberty and we've achieved a great deal of progress: Social Progress, Economic Progress and we are learning to live with the world around us. Sure, environmental progress has been slow, but we are making progress. Free people, free to choose their happiness, to place the lives of their families and communities before some government agenda, or religious agenda or some corporate agenda. That is what makes the human world go round my friend. Now, the west is on the verge of ending this experiment, which is unwise, but that is a different matter.

The Middle East is squandering their resources. Tiny groups of people get rich while the rest of the societies are kept impoverished by strict Islamic law and the rule of oil barrens and dictators. Russia has a ton of oil and so does the United States. But we are going to wait until the Middle East runs out of oil before we start to pump our own. The Middle East has everything it needs for wealth and success, but it lacks the liberty such wealth and success requires.

If there is an injustice, it is the clerics and the oil barrens and the dictators the sell off your resources and keep all that wealth to themselves that are to blame. Don't blame us. Don't be deceived by your clerics and dictators. It is not the west that is screwing the Middle East. It's just a few rich men and a few unhappy clerics oppressing an entire region, under the guise of monarchy and religion.
