What rights? We got where we are today through hard work and determination. We don't owe anyboy anything (as a country) just because we're richer. Sure, we definitely should be helping the less fortuneate, but not because we owe them, but simply because we can.

If I go to work, make some money, and buy 5 apples, and then my brother, who sits around all day in front of his computer, asks me for one of my hard earned apples, and I deny him, did I suddenly steal that apple from him? I think this may be a case of Westerners being lumped together as a unit. This happens to Muslims Asians and Africans in our media and behind closed doors also. It shouldn't be surprising that other cultures stereotype white people the way we stereotype them sometimes.
