The earth is 13,000 years old and it is soon to be renewed when Christ comes

How many times have we gone over and thoroughly refuted these exact same creationist arguments?

They were false the first time, and they certainly aren't getting any truer with each time that they're recycled.

FFT WROTE THE FOLLOWING ABOUT WHEN NOAH'S FLOOD HAPPENED:
2304 BCI - 4,300 YEARS AGO
TIME OF FLOOD
SEE THIS PAGE 'THE DATE OF THE FLOOD'

Not your average Mormon
I'm not a religious fanatic, with no sense of reality, who believes the earth is 6,000 years old, which I've also clearly shown is a false theory, througout this thread.
So someone who believes the earth is only 6,000 years old is a religious fanatic with no sense of reality, but someone who believes it is a whopping 13,000 years old is well-grounded in reality?

I will reply in red - FFT asked us to see the following page "THE DATE OF THE FLOOD" to prove his point. If you will look closely at who wrote the article you will find that it was written by J. Osgood in MARCH 1981 that is 28 years ago. And all he is doing is use the bible to make his point. He didn't look at any of the evidence found by archaeologist that shows the Genesis deluge never happened. I suggest that FFT read two book that are master peaces of evidence against any kind of a worldwide deluge ever happeneing. Here is what is said about the first book: ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE LAND OF THE BIBLE - 10,000-586 BCE. BY AMIHAI MAZAR -
Mazar's overview of the biblical life and the archaeological evidence to support it is without parallel. This book has quickly established itself as the standard text in biblical archaeology. It is almost 600 pages long with 1,000's of references to archaeological digs all over the bible land.

Mazar book starts from the first permanent settlements in the land of the bible 10,000 BCE or 12,000 years ago to the distruction of the first Temple destroyed by Nebuchasnezzar 586 BCE. There is NOT ONE REFERENCE in Mazar's book to a Genesis Deluge in 2304 BCI - 4,300 years ago. This book was written 9 years after Osgood article was written. I'm sure if Osgood had had a chance to read Mazar's book he would have realized that the the Genesis deluge never happened regardless what the bible says.

The next book is called PAST WORLDS ATLAS OF ARCHAEOLOGY by Collins printed in 1988 large edition is 12" x 18". over 300 pages long. It is an atlas of WORLD ARCHAEOLOGY. The chronology starts back about 4 to 5 million years ago up to AD 1869. There is NOT ONE WORD in it about a Genesis deluge happenening 4,300 years ago.

How do you, FFT, EXPLAIN THE INFORMATION IN THESES TWO BOOKS ON ARCHAEOLOGY showing not one piece of evidence of a worldwide Genesis deluge??? Your theory is all shot to hell, FFT.

The earth has an average of 6 to 9 inches of topsoil.

1inch of topsoil takes, at the most, 1000 years to accumulate.

The math is easy enough...

6,000 to 9,000 years of topsoil definitely fits within the creation time frame of 13, 000 years.

So where is the millions or billions of years of topsoil ??????

Age of Universe - Just How Old Is The Universe?

Exactly topsoil takes 9000 years to accumulate. You're conveniently ignorning my other questions sir. Why are houses not built on this 9000 years of topsoil? My point was that if topsoil takes 9000 years, imagine how long it took everything else thats under the topsoil to accumulate. You obviously have no idea what a soil profile is, hence why you need to come to work with me. If you believe the world world is made of topsoil then your really have no idea.

Soils: Soil Profiles

The first 2 layers are your 9000 years that fit into your creation timeline. Then theres the E and B horizons which take almost 6 times the amount of time to decompose. So thats 54,000 years (at the absolute minimum), which screws your rediculous theory.

Not to mention all the soil that went into making the sedimentary rocks.

wa:do

One thing at a time sir we do not want to confuse the man more than is necessary. If you want to get technical both intrusive and extrusive sedimentary rocks and relatively young in the grand scheme of things. Intrusive metamorphic rocks are probably the oldest you would find as they are compacted sedimentary rocks that have changed form under pressure and have then be re-released into the earth's uppermost layers.

Do you know much about processes called folding?

Hilarious isn't it? :sarcastic

I don't know whether it's entertaining or just sad to watch when people who are actually working in scientific fields take the time to come in and explain the science and dispute the false crap and yet some people who have no education to speak of in the sciences will go on and on about how wrong they are. :sarcastic

You know what? I've never been inside Enigmata's workplace. I've never even seen pictures of the machines he works on, but I've heard stories so I think I'm just going to tell him how he does his job all wrong now. Yep...just because I know jack squat shouldn't mean I shouldn't be able to tell him how he does his job all wrong.

Fact: FFH has no real formal education in science
Fact: Painted Wolf and Darkendless do
Thus...
Fact: FFH should just be still and read and LEARN SOMETHING.

The pattern is clear.

6 days/6,000 years the Lord labored to create this earth and everything in it.
1 day/1,000 years the Lord rested from all his labors.

6 days/6,000 years man has labored on this earth, since the fall of Adam and Eve.
1 day/1.000 years we will rest from our labors when Christ returns to renew this earth and set up his kingdom.

Book of Moses (Genesis chapters 1-13 restored)

Moses 2: 1 (compare to Genesis 1:1 King James version)

And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Moses, saying: Behold, I reveal unto you concerning this heaven, and this earth; write the words which I speak. I am the Beginning and the End, the Almighty God; by mine Only Begotten I created these things; yea, in the beginning I created the heaven, and the earth upon which thou standest.
Why is it that we love STRUCTURE so much?

Maybe that's what it means to serve an IDOL?

A fair bit. I'm not a geologist, but as a future student of paleontology I try to learn the basics of the field. I'm actually rather odd, as I'm leading up to my paleo career via biology rather than geology (the more typical route).

I do know it requires a fair amount of time and pressure to bend rocks without shattering them. Plenty long enough for newer flat layers to form on top of the old bent ones.

Yeh exactly, i find it a fascinating pehnomenon. Working around highway cuttings and the such i've seen my fair share, its always so amazing to see natures beauty that way. Even though we're destroying nature to see such beauty
Also im assuming you know what a borehole is? When we pull the soil out to analyse the profile its always cool to see 50000 years a change in 40cm of soil. Sadly though most of Australian soil contains clay which makes my job 100x harder.

Darkendless- Absolutely! Do you know much about using microfossils to quickly and accurately date deposits? I know it's vital to finding oil, and most micropaleontologists are employed by Petrolium companies. I don't know how much it's used outside that field and marine sedimentology.

I've only just been really learning about it and its amazing how complete their fossil reccord is!
If only vert paleontology was so easy!
You can literally watch them evolve over time in a smooth generational way. Boggles the mind!

This scripture comes to mind...

2 Timothy 3: 7
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We can learn all that the world has to offer, but it means nothing without true knowlege or a "knowledge of the truth".

What has happened to "FFH" ???? He is not answering anyone any more. Maybe he realizes that it is a lost cause to stand up for his 13,000 year old theory and that the Genesis deluge happened 4,300 years ago.

Looks like he just got back with some scripture. How about answering my questions to you?

Thing is FFH...you AREN'T learning. You think you have this "knowledge" you speak of. What you really have is blinders to the real world. That is what your precious "knowledge" has given you. Blinders.
