The Firmament that the Bible Describes is Real

It is a common reaction when people meet flat earthers for the first time. I'm sincere though I've been a flat earther now since 2016 I think.
Check out this article from Forbes Magazine, there are far more of us than you probably would have guessed. Only Two-Thirds Of American Millennials Believe The Earth Is Round
Be careful how you use stats. You used only people that were sure. That means that by your article only 4% of people believe in a Flat Earth.

That is a strawman, I've been talking about Antarctica for awhile now. I don't have any problems talking about Antarctica. The very fact that supposedly the most barren uninviting land on earth earth is so restricted bares credence to the claim that something is up. Learning about Operations High Jump and Operation Deep Freeze is an important part of our curriculum. Antarctica is one of our strong points.
I bet you didn't know that NASA claims most of our supposed moon rocks came from Antarctica before anyone ever even claimed to have gone to the moon. The more you learn about Antarctica, the more interesting it gets I'm telling you! :)
I suspect you need to re-read my post. I never said a thing about "talking about Antarctica".

There you go again, flicking questions away to videos instead of answering them yourself.

Though to be fair, in your position I'd probably do the same, since clearly you can't articulate a answer, let alone face interrogation about it.

Okay, so you don't want to walk to the south pole because of the difficulties associated with submitting a travel plan and any difficulties which may be associated with the trip.

But logically the tent or dome has four points where it meets the ground correct?

So if walking to the south pole is too much of a burden then flying over the north should easily disprove your model right?

"Unlike the north polar region, which is preferred especially for flights between Asia and North America"

Source: Why Planes Usually Don't Fly Over South Pole - aviationfile.
I don't have permits to travel to freely explore there and don't have the millions of dollars required to get the permits.
Flights are also restricted due to the Antarctic Treaty and as you pointed out airliners make a bunch of excuses not to go there.

This

That said, this map would contradict why Polaris and the Southern Cross rotate around an axis in the sky when you are closer to the northern or southern poles to a consistency where people can actually navigate to the point where we have written accounts of people doing just that over centuries, but hey
That is an appeal to incredulity fallacy. "I don't understand how it would work, therefore it must be a contradiction."

How star trails work is an excellent topic I would love to get into with you, but like the firmament I've got a lot to cover on that topic.
Let's save that topic for another thread and stick to the OP subject here.

So ─ exactly as any skeptical onlooker might expect ─ when it comes to clear evidence supporting your claims, you have none?

Of course, as some vulgar person once remarked, excuses are like [the exit of the alimentary tract] ─ everybody's got one. Not least you.

Which by happy chance reminds me of Oliver Cromwell's words to his Scottish opponents on a point of religion (which seems to be appropriate here, since what you're arguing certainly isn't a point of science), "I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible that you may be mistaken."

Kyle uses a lot of strawman arguments in his videos He probably has been refuted countless times when people pointed out strawman fallaies of his. I am sure that he did not understand those refutations, but "Strawman" has a nice ring to it so he parrots the phrase and thinks that he has refuted something.

I don't think most Christians choose to look into it, they don't think to ask and frequently choose to look away. I've witnessed it out doing interviews with people on the street.
Fair enough. I totally get you putting your "Globe" thread in the Biblical debates sub-forum, given that you claim that it is the Bible which expounds this idea, but I am not understanding why you have placed this thread in the Science & Technology sub-forum when it is clearly an idea which is flatly denied by science? (See what I did there? :tearsofjoy: )

Mainstream science is continually changing its mind and openly claims nothing can ever be proven.
Here is a peer reviewed journal article from the Journal of College Science Teaching. http://www2.lv.psu.edu/jxm57/pdf/POV-Sept06.pdf
This is very much a mainstream view and with that being the case, they admit there is no proof the earth is a globe.
