Mainstream science is continually changing its mind and openly claims nothing can ever be proven.

This is very much a mainstream view and with that being the case, they admit there is no proof the earth is a globe.

"Proof" in common parlance is indeed bandied about when referring to scientific matters. However it's better to restrict the term to the field of mathematics (or the law!). Science is about evidence, not proofs.

Most Christians - as far as I am aware of - don't know the Bible teaches the earth is flat. The focus of the Bible isn't about the shape of the earth.

I don't see that the Bible specifically teaches the earth is flat, it only makes vague references that it is a circle. And of course it is the Tanakh, a text that were compiled some 2500 years ago. Even Jews today don't interpret it literally as some Christians do.

That is a strawman, I've been talking about Antarctica for awhile now. I don't have any problems talking about Antarctica. The very fact that supposedly the most barren uninviting land on earth earth is so restricted bares credence to the claim that something is up. Learning about Operations High Jump and Operation Deep Freeze is an important part of our curriculum. Antarctica is one of our strong points.

I bet you didn't know that NASA claims most of our supposed moon rocks came from Antarctica before anyone ever even claimed to have gone to the moon. The more you learn about Antarctica, the more interesting it gets I'm telling you!
