The Firmament that the Bible Describes is Real

Interesting. While there are a handful or so of people I ignore here, I've never bothered with the software ignore feature, so I'm a bit clueless on how it works. The scroll option works quite well for me for those I choose to ignore.
I have been at times advised to put someone on ignore. I don't know why:rolleyes: So I had to find the button myself.

Apparently, I need the help of technology.

The videos look like speculation and fanciful guesses that are biased to come to the desired conclusion to me.

You can believe whatever you like, but if you are trying to sell this as fact and nothing leads to that conclusion. It isn't science.
It was painful. I opened up the video on YouTube. He deletes the comments of those that refute him there too. The video that I opened up had an awe inspiring 26 comments. Well 27 now. At least for a little while. I have had more than 26 response to just one comment on YouTube.

That deleting challenging comments doesn't inspire credibility. If it were a science site they wouldn't do that.

This

That said, this map would contradict why Polaris and the Southern Cross rotate around an axis in the sky when you are closer to the northern or southern poles to a consistency where people can actually navigate to the point where we have written accounts of people doing just that over centuries, but hey
So the closest way to fly from the USA to Germany is over Greenland and the North Pole. It’s way longer to fly out over the Atlantic and then turn left to Europe.

Sailing would mean turning to the left around gGreenland, not a straight line as we all understand as reality.

Sailing is more complex. Not only are Great Circle Routes often impossible, as you noted , but there are currents to take into consideration as well. Now the currents are much higher than the ground speed wind velocities that jet airliners ignore, But since the vessels are going far slower than a jet plane they are often taken into consideration. From New York to London the best bet would probably be to jump into the Gulf Stream and sail with that.

I've heard rumors that icebergs can be a problem. As a flat earther I have serious doubt about it. Have you ever heard of a ship having problems with an iceberg? Of course not.
Exactly right!

On our flat earth all parts are equally close to the sun so that's why icebergs are only found in science fiction.

I remember one yarn where they had this thing called an "equator" and it was supposed to be hot ─ gotta love those writers!

I'm going to start a thread arguing the North Pole is actually where the Biblical New Jerusalem is hidden, and that the government knows all about it but isn't telling us until after the next election.

I wonder how many pages of responses I'll get trying to prove me wrong. :) I can't take the OP seriously. I highly suspect this new member is just trolling us for amusement.

He is dead serious. He posts quite a few YouTube videos. That is too serious to be a troll. That is the action of a true believer.

Okay, so you don't want to walk to the south pole -

That is a strawman, I've been talking about Antarctica for awhile now. I don't have any problems talking about Antarctica. The very fact that supposedly the most barren uninviting land on earth earth is so restricted bares credence to the claim that something is up. Learning about Operations High Jump and Operation Deep Freeze is an important part of our curriculum. Antarctica is one of our strong points.
I bet you didn't know that NASA claims most of our supposed moon rocks came from Antarctica before anyone ever even claimed to have gone to the moon. The more you learn about Antarctica, the more interesting it gets I'm telling you! :)

I've got some scriptures that support the claim that some of the lost tribes of Israel are somewhere hidden in the North and that they will make a grand return in the last days if you want to read them. That is an interesting topic.

No, you are conflating meteorites with Moon rocks. They are not the same thing. Do you know why so many meteorites are found there?

Oh, and how the opening argument that you responded to a strawman? I do not think that you understand the term.
