Since the year 2000, religion has made resurgence whereas atheism and agnosticism are on the decline.

The growth rates of the Abrahamic religions from 1910-2010 were as follows: Judaism .11%, Christianity 1.32%, Islam 1.97%, and Baha’i Faith 3.54%.

Atheism was growing at a rate of 6.54% from 1910-2010 but dropped to a growth rate of 0.05% from 2000-2010. Agnosticism was growing at a rate of 5.45% from 1910-2010 but dropped to a growth rate of 0.32% from 2000-2010. That demonstrates that both atheism and agnosticism are on the decline but also that there are many more agnostics than atheists.

Atheism is not growing despite what atheists may say. Real surveys and statistics say atheism is on the decline worldwide. Sorry atheists but atheism is not on the rise nor is it winning. It's still the minority and a declining one at that.

The Pew Research Center's statistics show that atheism is expected to continue to decline all the way into 2050 with a continued growth of religion. Other research also shows a huge surge in growth for Christianity in China which is currently the world's most "atheist" nation because of the atheist communist government suppressing religion, the research suggests that China will soon become the world's most Christian nation within 15 years.

This is simply history repeating itself: Christianity prospered in Rome back in the ancient era when it was suppressed and it still grew in the militant atheist soviet Russia when it was suppressed there only a century ago with the majority of Russians today now also identifying as Christian. Just goes to show that atheist suppression of religion still doesn't stop religion.

Atheism is growing rapidly in developed countries and will grow in the rest of the world once they reach the same level of development.

There is no reason to believe that will happen.
Only if there is no God is it possible for that to happen.

As far as russia goes, it never really suppressed religion directly but it did suppress meetings (all meetings) of more than 6 people which included the churches. It did suppress (violently) those who opposed the state whether they be church leaders or atheist writers. Don't believe the hype for one moment. Religion was no more special than any other group of dissidents


And i wouldn't trust pew with figures on Atheism since they completely forgot to count Europe and China and claimed the percentage of atheists in the world was 2.5%

So the faith with the biggest number of adherents is in rapid decline, even the faiths that are claiming an increase in adherents are in total not keeping up with the population increase. As mentioned earlier, teaching and availability of information has changed to allow people the think for themselves. Where do you think this is going to lead?

What has already happened?

Why isn't it possible that everyone will become atheists? All sentient beings come from an animal that is chosen to receive sentience. Then they evolve over a million years or so and eventually become enlightened beings. This is absolute, exactly how long it takes is unknown to us.

What has already happened? The universe has already played out it's long course. That's why in the bible it says that God is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. The universe is a movie, or computer simulation, that has already played in it's entirety. We are just at a point near the beginning of the simulation but to God the entire simulation has already played.

This is why some true psychic people "remember" the past and others "see" the future. They are accessing the information.

It takes time but I can figure people out. I see control drama's. I see people who are afraid. People who are control freaks. People who are psychopaths. People who have esteem issues and have to constantly put down others just to feel better about themselves. People who are lazy because they know that no matter how hard they work and how successful they become it won't make their parents better parents. People who are alcoholics because of past trauma. People who have to have more than others so they can feel superior. People who nitpick others mistakes and discount their own mistakes so they can feel smarter than others.

Most people think that you can't figure out what drives another person, they think people are too complex. They're not.

Having money or power on the earth means nothing once you die. As you ascend through the levels you are always going to have to deal with other beings. Being able to quickly figure out others is very, very, very important.

People are not leaving Christianity. They're leaving organized religion. They had enough of working hard and giving their money to the money hungry preacher man.

People justify their behaviour. Charles Manson was once interviewed and asked whether he had any sympathy for the people he was responsible for killing. He said "What about the people driving cars and polluting the environment?" As if murder and driving a car are equal.

When a psychiatrist exposes someones control drama they always resist it at first and sometimes they never accept it. Control drama's are people's most closely guarded secrets. They are even secret to the person themselves.

Why does it matter to me what drives another person? I want to learn everything I can about the universe that God created in order to better understand God. People are one of the most puzzling and complex things in existence.

Figuring out people is necessary because enlightened beings can see/feel it. They know instantly whether someone is a psychopath or not. At the next level, knowing who you can trust is very important. There are dangerous places. After that, at level 3, the first training level, you can pretty much trust the teachers but not necessarily the students who are learning with you. Once you make it to heaven you can trust everyone in heaven.

Do you have any evidence of that?
Do you believe that those who no longer identify as being Christian still believe in Jesus?
Everyone I know who left Christianity became an atheist and they are leaving in droves.

As much as I might think I know that at times, I cannot believe that is true because of what my religion teaches.

You are a person. Why do you think you are not doing any of theses things? How could you know if you were?

Funny thinning, I was in all kinds of counseling for over 20 years and I saw several psychiatrists, but not one of them ever claimed to know me better that I know myself and not one of them tried to expose my control dramas, even though I was a controller back in those days. I am also a licensed counselor so I knows and it is unethical to claim to know someone better than they know themselves. A good counselor always asks people about themselves, they never assume they know what they cannot know. Once they know their client, they can then proceed to try to help their client, but only if that person wants help.

I can understand why you would want to understand how people think and why they do what they do, and that is one reason I studied psychology. However where is draw the line is in thinking I know more about a person than they know about themselves because I consider that arrogant. That does not mean I cannot see some behaviors in a person and think I know what they might mean, but it is wrong to assume I know because I could be wrong. It is always best to ask rather than assume.

Truly enlightened beings do not consider themselves enlightened because they have humility. Self-dissatisfaction is the first sign of progress.

I do not pretend to know what will happen in the afterlife (spiritual world). I have some ideas and beliefs but that is all they are. Nobody knows what is on the other side except those who have crossed over. However, from some afterlife accounts I have read that came from spirits to mediums, as well as what my religion teaches, people will gravitate towards their own level so they will be with like-minded souls. As such, there will be no danger of being hurt by some evil soul if you are a good soul. I believe that psychopath and the like will be at a very low levels where they can no longer hurt anyone except maybe other psychopaths. That can be considered hell, and these souls like being there because they enjoy doing harm.
