The Growing Greatness of Muhammad (S+) In The Eyes of Much of The World

Yes,i did understand what do you mean.

i will try to explain why some thinkers have graded him as the greatest, and of course i aint asking you to do a favor and regard him as the greatest too .:)

it is up to you of course how you grade one person.i agree with you at this point, anyway

We are talking about the greatest character of a human being in our history, how we could know such character,by studying the life story of prophet Mohammed which have been studied by some thinkers (Sirat prophet mohammed).

i aint going to tell each and every story because i need to write a book here and honestly saying i aint a good writer and have even difficulties on english language.

in peace, his character is the most merciful, even harming an animal did disgust him.
in war,he is a great brave warrior,so he was best in both.

Was known before islam and called as honest and trustful, never ever known to lie which was one of the the reasons that many accepted to believe that he was speaking the truth because of his characters since he was youth,he did never worship idols and never drink wine or commit adultery,so in few words the greatest morals of a human being.

Even when he knew that he is going to leave the world,he was worried that he should ask his people to gather for his last speech,is that easy,i don't believe so,except for great men and women.

How you could know a person with a great character.

Can we call a person who are always drunk a great person.
Can we call a person who lie everyday as a great person.
Can we call a perspon who are afraid to face an oppressor as a great person.
Can we call a person like me and you as great ones, yes we are. :D

You may disagree with me on all of the above and i'll be glad to hear your comments, but i want to say one last thing that i agree with you %100 that its ones own opinion whether he want to grade one person as the greatest or not,but i am only trying to explain why some thinkers believe him to be so as well as most muslims do.

and I agree with you now!:D by the way, your english skills are wonderful for that of a second language, I commend you!

Muhammad - The Last Prophet

This article refutes all those claims - both the misinterpretation of the Qur'anic verse about 'Seal of Prophets' and the saying of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
It does not prove Muhammad is the last Messenger for ever. I'll be glad to discuss it if you want. Just please use the information from the site you posted to reply to my previous posts, and we can go from there.

Or, you can find the info below, which repudiates that Muhammad had the final revelation, and shows this was the misunderstanding of some religious leaders:

Yes, I believe Muhammad was a Divine Messenger, a Manifestation of God who was infallible. I had also made a separate thread regarding Muhammad:

Muhammad killed many people and fought in or ordered 68 battles and countless violent actions.

There is no evidence Christ killed another living thing.

Muhammad had physical symptoms that are perfectly consistent with demon possesion when he had revelations that freightened others.

Christ had the composer of a child and had the most comforting effect on most everyone around him.

Muhammad flat refused to do any miracles that would have proven his authority, when he was asked as the biblical prophets had done.

Christ did countless miracles.

Muhammad performed almost every dispicable act known to man.

Christ never commited an single sin.

Muhammad is in the ground after being poisened by the wife of a man he killed.

The grave had no power over Christ and he sits at the right hand of the father.

Muhammad repeated distorted biblical doctrine he heard from heretical Jews in Arabia and claimed they are the words of God.

Christ predicted the future, never falsely quoted scripture, and never made any claim that is demostratably false.

Muhammad claimed about Christ what the bible claims would be said by the anti-Christ.

Yeah some kind of guy. Can what is below be said about him by even his critics?

"The character of Jesus has not only been the highest pattern of virtue, but the strongest incentive to its practice, and has exerted so deep an influence, that it may be truly said, that the simple record of three short years of active life has done more to regenerate and to soften mankind, than all the disquisitions of philosophers and than all the exhortations of moralists."
William Lecky One of Britain’s greatest secular historians.

He was the meekest and lowliest of all the sons of men, yet he spoke of coming on the clouds of heaven with the glory of God. He was so austere that evil spirits and demons cried out in terror at his coming, yet he was so genial and winsome and approachable that the children loved to play with him, and the little ones nestled in his arms. His presence at the innocent gaiety of a village wedding was like the presence of sunshine.
No one was half so compassionate to sinners, yet no one ever spoke such red hot scorching words about sin. A bruised reed he would not break, his whole life was love, yet on one occasion he demanded of the Pharisees how they ever expected to escape the damnation of hell. He was a dreamer of dreams and a seer of visions, yet for sheer stark realism He has all of our stark realists soundly beaten. He was a servant of all, washing the disciples feet, yet masterfully He strode into the temple, and the hucksters and moneychangers fell over one another to get away from the mad rush and the fire they saw blazing in His eyes.
He saved others, yet at the last Himself He did not save. There is nothing in history like the union of contrasts which confronts us in the gospels. The mystery of Jesus is the mystery of divine personality.

Any being who is flawed by human standards despite what he spewed as divine awe is bound still by his humanity and absolutely bound by his humanity.

i don't know how you could compare god the creator of the universe who is known to be the father, the son and the holy spirit with an ordinary man whom called mohammed pbuh.

The only being worth being known as the greatest is one's own self. Anything else is mere immortality that cannot be realistically met.

By the way.... We do not believe Jesus is the Father The Son and the Holy Spirit. He is The Son but God no less so your point is still good!

Can all the world now see how Christians promote their Religion. That is why there is so much war in the world. The Devil has now forced me to respond to this diatribe.
Let me tell you one thing and this is it.
Your religion is nothing but a piece of distorted Judaism mixed with European Idol worship using the lofty name of Jesus. After his ascension to heaven a gang of his enemies came together under that great devil called Paul and decided to break the teaching of the true Jesus and called it Christianity. Under this enemy of Jesus a new vicious doctrine sprang up which rightfully should be called Paulism.
Next your Jesus did nothing. There is nothing he did that was great. You only believe in imaginations. Insulting the Great Prophet of Islaam in this manner the heavens and the earth want to shake because of its enormity. When the real Jesus returns you will be among those doomed to destruction. Aamiyn

Don't act the way he did brother, let prophet Mohammed pbuh be our example.

One good thing that he did by such post that he admitted and treated Jesus (issa)pbuh as an ordinary man,and that is really a great thing that he did by a mistake.

Thank you Lady B, Exactly the father and son is one,so i found it to be irrational to compare him with an ordinary human being such as prophet mohammed pbuh.

I agree, I was really hoping no one would go tit for tat between the two It is putting them on the same level and Christians do not believe that.

I was not promoting my religion I was tearing yours up. I am just kidding. Everything up there is textually verifiable unlike a single claim of yours. If you can't show my claims wrong then attacking my religion using inaccurate things you could not possably know even if they were true which they aren't is a poor substitute. I can't get a Muslim to even address the point about his revelations and the circumstances that surround them. It is no insult to say an evil act was an evil act.
