In my nonpareil universe, winning is the simplest thing.I like that answer better than the one I was provided:
Take two away from the 5 and add it to the 8. That equals 10 (...Plus 3 left over, but you're supposed to ignore those lonely old three sitting out there on their own...)
I, however, prefer to take three away from the 8 to make another five, then add them together! (They still won't tell me what to do with those left overs, though)...
In some parallel or maybe it's nonparallel universe, this makes sense...
