It's November 12, a week past our first freeze of the year, and my wife and I were discussing whether we should mow the yard one more time, or just let it go until spring...
Wait until it snows, then leave the neighbors to wonder as you get a mow in.
We get maybe 1 or 2 frosts a year although the last 4 or 5 I don't think we had any so mowing is an all year chore but from what I've heard that's better than snow shovelling.
Mowing the lawn was one of my jobs while growing up. I used to enjoy it. I haven't mown grass in 30 years or more now.
You keep it down by eating it?

How else would a rabbit do it. Gave it up for a strictly clover diet.
