Why I am not an Italian.
Because when I book an appointment....and I am told 4:30 pm, I arrive at 4:30 sharp.
And when the other party arrives at 4:50, they say: "well...I said 4:30...in general"
And I am like

Try getting a french plumber or building contractor. Minutes can stretch for weeks or months. Interesting times

Notre ancien plombier a pris sa retraite il y a 4 mois. Le nouveau plombier est nouveau dans la région et vient de créer une entreprise. Il est grand, mince, beau et marié avec 3 enfants et a trop de travail donc les urgences peuvent prendre 3 jours ou plus pour être examinées.
Tell me about it. If your tap gets broken on either Saturday or Sunday...it's a tragedy. They have their own day of rest, after all.
We had a blocked toilet on 7th, we contacted the plumber with the emergency. Because it was an emergency he would rearrange his schedule and call on Monday 12th morning to take a look. But if we prefer we could try another plumber to see if they can come sooner. No joy so we had to wait... Luckily we have 3 other WCs we can use. Some people are not so fortunate.
Enough. Insurance claim?
