That was his reasoning, though ink's still about 20-30 bucks cheaper. And a lot less trash.The last few printers I've bought become useless after about 6 months. The print heads get clogged up but it's not that much of a problem because it's cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy ink.
I'll check it out when the time comes.Our old one gave up on us a couple of weeks ago so we got a Epson xp 2200 from Amazon cost €39. It prints, scans and copies. Who could ask for more.
The old one would fax as well but we've not used that function so its no loss.
And replacement ink is about 1/2 the price of the old one
My usual method is to flour and sweep. Not going to work this time.Easier to clean up.
