A vowel state, that explains it. I was warned to stay away from states that start and end with a vowel.

Thank you! Just got back last evening and wow, I am so messed up time wise! But the trip was fabulous and I can definitely see why my son loves Korea so much.

Like Ohio, I guess. Ahhh, well! I am planning to be "home" in Texas for a week and then it's off to Ohio for me!
I've just learned to watch for them. I thought about buying a handful of safety vests and leaving them where they could be found and returned. But sadly they wouldn't be returned. Maybe leave reflective tape out. Cheaper to replace.
I just don't want them to get hit, but they don't seem to put in the same effort to that end that I have been.

Well yes, but that isn't what I was thinking of.
Just minimized my responses to the nonsense claims and questions about science. Limited myself to one thread this time. Maybe next time, I'll just not even look.
It is a process. But I have to remember, there is no evidence that those making the claims and questions have any knowledge of science or interest in learning something outside their agenda.
That is a voweluable skill.
What about the same state that ends in a different vowel, depending? Missouri or Missouree/Missoura.
I don't think that's inaccurate.
However, it doesn't cover all of the places to avoid.
To play it safe, I'd avoid any state with a vowel in the name at all.
I really wish LeeAnder would bring his own food to his dad's house when he goes on the weekend... It seems he's got a 50-50 shot of throwing up on Monday(and the 50% of the time he doesn't puke, he feels ill, anyways).
How would they get down there anyway. Tornadoes are too big to fit in the cellar.

When Sam moved here, he informed me he was going to jump into a tornado and ride it for awhile. Its fun.
I didn't marry him for his brains, but this seemed like a particularly ridiculous thing to say...
I guess on the beach, they'd get small wind funnels, and you could jump in them, and get a lift off your feet for a moment or two. I had to show him some tornado damage pictures before he finally understood the two were not the same.
Only the big ones ;-)
