Just minimized my responses to the nonsense claims and questions about science. Limited myself to one thread this time. Maybe next time, I'll just not even look.

It is a process. But I have to remember, there is no evidence that those making the claims and questions have any knowledge of science or interest in learning something outside their agenda.

Yes it's wise to take a break from it every now and then.

What about the same state that ends in a different vowel, depending? Missouri or Missouree/Missoura.

I Watched a doco on U.S. Grant and you lot were fence sitters during the civil war, he was concerned about moving south with you in his rear (metaphorically speaking). Also you've stolen a city from Kansas. So probably low on the trust scale.

To play it safe, I'd avoid any state with a vowel in the name at all.

This spring, an unusual cicada double dose is about to invade a couple parts of the United States in what University of Connecticut cicada expert John Cooley called “cicada-geddon.” The last time these two broods came out together in 1803 Thomas Jefferson, who wrote about cicadas in his Garden Book but mistakenly called them locusts, was president.

I've been sorting out an airport kerfuffle with a flight from Idaho to Las Vegas which is somehow my fault. Turns out someone entered the wrong birth date. She's now just landed back in Vegas so good morning.
