It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I had a friend I was driving around that threw garbage out the window. I got mad, and stopped. Made her go get it. Told her to put it on the floor with the rest of the trash. The car was obviously a pig sty, but we have no reason to make a mess of the planet.
You aren't kidding. Also, I think the teenager was afraid of getting in some sort of trouble which made me feel good.

I never could understand it myself. It's not that difficult to find a suitable receptacle to deposit one's trash. People who are traveling can wait until they get to a rest area, gas station, etc. Public parks generally have trash cans placed in various locations. I can see that, in some occasions, it might be unintentional, but most of the time, it just seems like people just don't care.
I could not agree more. Like someone has always just picked up after them. or left their trash totally alone or whatever.

I remember taking some trips with my grandparents as a kid, and my grandfather was a litterbug. He would throw trash and cans out on to the highway, mainly because he didn't want his car getting messed up. He was kind of meticulous about his car and home and yard being clean and spotless, but he didn't seem to care when he was on the highway.

My socialist father was a landlord. I was for a time a landlord (1/2 of a duplex).

Come the revolution filthy dogs will get bathed and will run for the people and reap the rewards (aka cookies) for their dedication to socialism.
