App stores are always terrible. They are not search friendly, are designed to waste time and impede anyone who needs to find something in particular. It started with Amazon, but everyone else caught on quickly. Now almost nothing is easy to find, and its nearly impossible to tell good from bad.

Also Kindle books I had previous purchased are unavailable -- as if I'd never bought them.
That's because you actually didn't buy them. You merely leased them/paid for the privilege of use. It's in the TOS if you read it. The only way to actually preserve them is to download Calibre and the appropriate plugins and remove the DRM from what you purchased.

During today's dose of "us and them," when someone mentioned "people like us," I decided they aren't "those people," they are "my people." And then sighed when I remembered Melisandre calling out Varys for calling himself a part of the common folk, because both have been apart from the common folk for so long that neither are common folk anymore. And the assured myself they are "my people" when one of the presenters said she wasn't sure why but I look familiar - probably because there is a decent chance she's seen me mingled in with "those people" as a client.

I could get a couple "easy" billing hours next week during a Christmas dinner for group, and making sure that I'm making sure the person that is "assigned" to me is interacting with the group and being sociable. I about laughed when I read that, because I'd have to try to make sure I'm being social and interacting with the group. Definitely not for me.

I'm getting off work early tomorrow, so the day for getting my nipples pierced is now tomorrow rather than Saturday! :D

Tomorrow I'll be getting the biggest check I've ever made. And it didn't require 60 hours in a dusty and miserably hot warehouse (what used to be the best I've made). And after awhile, it'll be the first time I've ever had four digits in my bank account.

I don't remember the largest check I've ever received.
Dang....it would be fun if I did.
But at least I remember the most fun check I ever received.
I was expecting a particular range of amounts.
The check looked OK, until someone pointed out that
the decimal point was one place further to the right.
I made an enlarged photocopy of it so I could enjoy it daily.
