I think I'm changing gender therapists. Now that so many people where I go for that know me, and that I work with them, I've become a tad uncomfy with keeping on going there, especially since he specializes in addiction. And it would do away with all the routine questionnaires concerning anxiety, depression, and drug use.
I also found out today that apparently I'm a "risky user." I've never injected drugs, I've never used meth, I'm allergic to opiates, but I'm in the risky level. :/ No, I don't feel like talking about it, I'm not concerned about it, and I've never missed work or school or royally f'ed up because of it.

The lady who is in charge of training, she said "sorry for being sacrilegious" when she said our training manuals would be our Bible. I thought I really need to teach this lady a thing or two about blasphemy and sacrilege.

I don't remember the largest check I've ever received.
Dang....it would be fun if I did.
But at least I remember the most fun check I ever received.
I was expecting a particular range of amounts.
The check looked OK, until someone pointed out that
the decimal point was one place further to the right.
I made an enlarged photocopy of it so I could enjoy it daily.
My most fun check was the one I posted here recently - 2 cents. I deposited it today to spread the fun around.

My dad has this old Boomer mentality that a job in itself is fulfilling and satisfying. Tonight when he asked me how I feel working and getting a pay check, I reached a point where I had to tell him that work for work's sake doesn't make me feel good but leaves me feeling miserable, but having a job that helps people and makes a positive impact in society, rather than doing something like serving heart attacks in a wrapper and wasting tons of food, feels great.
Which of course prompts me to want to take the chance to say "**** Pence," who said there is "nothing more ennobling than a job," which had me wanting to jump on the "Ura Nazi" bandwagon by making a meme of him, quoting that, and then putting a picture of the Auschwitz entrance gate with a clear shot of "Arbeitet Macht Frei."
Work for the sake of work sucks.

Tomorrow is Friday. That means I don't have to worry about going to bed early. I'm also getting a new vaporizer tomorrow, and taking my parents out for dinner.

There is no such thing as men's work and women's work in the world to come, Some might try to hold onto the past as it rapidly disappears but to do that is to be swept away in the flood which has now started.

speaking as one who has a full time job and for the most part is also Mr Mom.... I have no idea what that means or how to answer that question.....

Mr Wu is a doctor and one of those weird ones that works 12 hours a day and hates golf.

NASA announcement later today, the news headlines are asking if they've found life. I do wonder just how frustrating and annoying such news thingies are to scientists?
