I've observed that drivers on the LA freeway system drive pretty fast - unless it's bumper-to-bumper traffic. They're pretty aggressive drivers, though.

One thing I have noticed, at least observing many of the common out-of-state license plates around here, drivers from the state of Washington appear to be the slowest drivers on Earth. The plane was flying to Seattle, so I at first I thought he was talking about Seattle.
When I lived in LA, it was fascinating watching how others
would zip in front of me to fill that space...you know....the
one you leave so that you'll have time to brake if the car
in front brakes.

I think Newport Beach is conservative, or at least it used to be. It's in Orange County, which is quite conservative - a haven for Wally George and the John Birch Society.

I am not conservative....but then I'm not liberal......I tend towards the middle.......but I did like Newport beach

It looks E-Bay is also selling an advertisement of that steam engine, along with a Steinway piano and some valuable new books.

On time in Boston approaching a traffic circle I realized that the only way I was going to get in was to floor it. Knowing I had a large, rental car, ZOOM.

The purpose of an auction is to get as much
as possible from the bidding population.
Sometimes, this makes things cheap.
It's how I buy many things today.
