It would probably take longer than a week to drive that distance round trip.
I've gone one way before along route 66 part way, down through Dallas, Texas, up through GA and the Carolinas to Va. but not all the way to Vermont. Going all the way to Vermont would add a day, so yes probably 8 days with a lot of driving each day. You could try taking a more northern route and possibly get a different result.

`They ought to be charging while they are driving either from electrical cables or magnetic chargers in the ground. As it is they must charge while sitting still. what they need is a way to charge while driving down long stretches of interstate highway like trolleys with batteries.

That would be nice... but currently it does not exist..... and if, and when, it does, I am sure it will not be free

Too bad no one could defend Chris Benoit when Fox tarnished his name and claimed it was a roid rage that lead him to snap. It was tragic enough, terrible that years of brain injury lead to such a malfunction, and they had to make it worse?
Talking heads in news media aren't the best disagnosticians.
