I've been bored enough to try and figure out where he was that it took him 16 hours to get to LA. Western Texas might be a bit too far, though doable with no stops. Probably somewhere in New Mexico or Colorado. But what do I know? I can't drive 55 either.

Maybe if I didn't think Superman is an overrated bore.
Gotta go with something like the Hulk or Wonder Woman (except then I can only name Linda Carter). I can name a bunch of Batmen and Catwomen though starting with Adam West and Julie Newmar.

1st appeared on TV. We had no sci fi alternative.
Those supes you mention are all much later than the 50s.
BTW....Noel Neil & Phyllis Coates. I remember.

My question was a devious trick question.
But you evaded it by not knowing any Lois Lanes.
You ruined something really clever!
BTW, when I took my broker prep course, it was in an
office building a street named...wait for it.....Lois Lane

I evaded by thinking Superman is super lame.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to educate my Samsung Bixby on why it should just claim it's named after Bill.

I had a dream that was in Japanese last night. There wasn't actually that much said, amd my dreams in German have been more productive, but I must have been really thirsty because I kept repeating "水,ください."
