I got harassed by a hippy in a VW hippy van, nastiest driver I ran into from San Diego to Muir wood...to many hills, to much traffic, to many homeless, to expensive....muir wood was good though.....
He was probably from Los Angeles. I get the impression that people from the Bay Area tend to look down on people from Los Angeles. San Francisco was an important West Coast city for a long time, while Los Angeles was pretty small and backward by comparison. But then it got bigger, with oil, Hollywood, defense industries, upstaging SF and making them into a bunch of has beens.
Nuestra Señora La Reina de los Angeles de Porciuncula is a bit odd to us Northern Californians.

Never had an issue in LA, just SF........ but to be totally honest when in that area I stayed mostly in Santa Monica... and I didn't see one hippy or hippy van there.... he was an SF resident, I'm sure if it.... that is my unprovable stance and I'm sticking with it

DANG CANADIANS!!!! They are trying to smoke us out, Well WE WOIN'T go so easily..... they want to expand into upstate NY...it will take more than s little smoke to get us to leave...... besides.... it is smokier in the southern part if the state.... that is where NYC is.....Air quality low here today because of Canadian wildfires. Even smells a bit like a campfire here

I went to Menard's last week for green paint and bird seed.
The the lad had one of his nastiest weeks in years, and completely took me out of commission.
You've made me remember I have to paint the shelf and feed the birds.
Don't get those 2 tasks mixed up.

Oh so now it goes philosophical....is black the absence of color or the presence of all color....Is white the absence of all color....or just being racist..
Probably.
