Clean up broken thermometer
Try take out screws holding bracket to the wall
Screws are stuck and will not come out
OK..there is room for the new bracket for new thermometer
Take new thermometer out if box
Screws fall out...have to look for them
find them
Go get wireless drill
Wireless drill needs to be charged
I give up, go in house, get lunch...

I've never had my own. I was, my soon to be roommates planned on it, but then we learned they were expensive amd cheap cellphones are cheaper. Funny how that money issue changed our belief that phones belong at home, plugged into a wall.

well, I NEEEEED one
I once had a boss who questioned what I did all day. So I went around with a clipboard documenting anything that lasted over a minute. That satisfied his concern and he never questioned what I did again.
As far as sales calls do, I'm on the "do not disturb" list, don't answer calls that with no names and have my cellphone set to automatically reject known spam calls. The number that get through is very small.

I have days without sales calls and then every now and then I get swamped by them
Why do you keep going back to the garage? Seems to be a lost cause.
I had a doctor ask what I did. I told him, and his response was "you do nothing".
My dad recommended taking the kids next time, and letting him oversee them.
