Not sure if your comment was in response to mine, but I assume it was, and it gave me a good laugh!
Just the whole idea of what you wouldn't hear in a church choir. :p You definitely would not hear Heresy. Though, a lot done by Trent Reznor would not be heard in a church-like setting. Most especially Closer (despite the lyric being "you get me closer to god" :D ). Though, Something I Can Never Have and a few others, like Hurt, aren't too objectionable for some people I guess.

Is the widow still single?
Ask @Wirey.
Dear God, I hope so.

Although, I always assume if you see one insect inside the house, the odds are high there are many more of the same lurking about.

Black widows like to nest around wood, if possible. She has a web placed in a spot where she can hide inside the crevice of a cabinet. It's been difficult to see her out long enough to smack her.

A friend has one of these: http://bugasalt.com/ and we're going to lie in wait and be ready for an assault. Hopefully, it won't take days for Ms. Widow to peep out.

Don't attempt to smack her. If she's in a crevice try using a vacuum cleaner with a crevice tool. Just go very slowly along the cracks every so often and you're bound to get her at some point.

I've definitely considered this, was my first thought, actually. The only vacuum I have right now (I recently moved) is a shop vac. If I suck her up into it, there's a chance she might get back out via the hose.

Uh, no. The force it sucks them in they end up splatter along the inside of the well. Believe me, I know. We get a variety of bugs and spiders in this house, especially spiders, and we use the crevice tool on our shop vac to get into cracks and such often enough for that reason. You get bug splatter.

If's it's a wet-dry just put a little salty water in it. She'll never survive that.

Well, you must have a vacuum with super sucking power because on many occasions I've sucked up less formidable spiders with this shop vac and when I open the canister to dump it, they are still alive inside. I want proof that she's dead. :D

Shouldn't it be called "Salt-A-Bug" instead?

Meanwhile, one of my mother's favorite movies is Dogma and she likes Nine Inch Nails and ES Posthumus. Then again, my mother has always been pretty laid back. It's my father who has anal retentive issues. :p
That sounds like my ex's mom. She loves the Kevin Smith movies, and her favorite bands are Nine Inch Nails and Godsmack. She's way super-cool, laid back, very accepting, caring, and loving, but she turns into mamma bear if you mess with her kids.
