Bwahahaha!!! I could have told you that, falvlun. On the flip side, there's a chance they've thrown most of their food out, so you may not get great service or great attitude, but you will possibly get really fresh food. On the flip side, they may not have thrown out the food, and you could get really stale food. I know, I used to work at a McDonalds.

I always wonder, people that are really scared of Shari'a laws, have they never read of Jewish Halacha laws? I mean there's many Jewish courts all over and people don't seem scared of them, so why is Shari'a so scary? Is it because there's more (media, etc.) exposure?

I need someone to enlighten me on this subject.

1) Because it's Islam, and that scared the hell out of ignorant people

and

2) Those same people tend to be completely ignorant of Judaism.

I made that same point years ago when I first started here. Every place that has a decent Jewish population has a beit din (rabbinical court), and Jews have been living by Jewish law for millennium.

almost the 20th firework has gone off with the only result being an extremely loud bang, explosion followed by multiple car alarms setting off.

UK has Guy Fawkes night fireworks and they go on forever before and after. A house behind our neighbourhood did fireworks and one of them fell on a neighbour's roof.

Some people just don't have common sense at all. Our houses are all close and backyards aren't big. But then again, who would expect drunken chavs to have common sense?
