The Random, Meaningless Political post thread

I knew to take what they were claiming with a handful of salt, especially considering their inventive imagination regarding American culture.
Listen dear...you cannot deny the evidence.
I have watched American TV ...the journalists and newscasters are all dressed like nuns, or nearly.

Watch: these women are journalists and newscasters. There's even written on the screen.

I have never said that. :)
I was misread, then.

I'll let your posts speak for themselves:

Absolutely not.
Sexual assault is a crime.
But if we speak of catcalling, most Italians consider it normal.

Objectification is considered normal, even by women.
For example, here you can say a woman who is sitting on a motorbike in a showroom. To advertise a motorbike.
And she is bothered by the fact that two young men are interested in the gears and not in her body.

And in fact she says: the problem here is that they are really interested in the motorbike.
And some mature men: it's the young generations! We are actually interested in you.

Maybe you're right. I overgeneralized a bit.
But I want to know your opinion.
What do you think of our TV?
Of how women are portrayed? :)

I haven't watched any Italian TV and have no reason to, since I don't know the language. I don't watch any other country's TV either, as I purposely don't have a TV.

I did like the original Suspiria, though.

I posted YT videos, though.

I have never found YouTube videos to be reliably representative of any country, mainly because 1) one can find videos to serve practically any viewpoint, and 2) most of the videos I have seen about life in various countries are inherently focused on a small subset of life in any given country and can't cover much about life there.

I detect a lot of non-randomness today.
Stop it!

I'll show you random.
Dang....not just random...completely unhinged....

On 2nd thought, that might not be meaningless.
I'll try harder next time.

Even American cameramen are gentlemen...they would never do this.
I mean...look at how mischievous and naughty Italian cameramen are (talk show on national TV)

Which highlights the lack class, decorum, and professionalism. Nothing wrong with sexual content, but there's a proper time and place

Imagine if nuns dressed like this during mass. How well would that go over?

Okay, here's something random, meaningless, and political:
