The reasons of abortions: why women have abortions

There can be several explanations
A) she wouldn't take the pill regularly
B) European hormonal pills are more effective
C) American males' fertility is so high that pills are ineffective.

All incorrect.

Then explain me why Italy has one of the lowest birth rates in the world. Do you think Italians don't have sex? Or have sex very rarely?
This is not an anecdote. It's data. It's numbers.

You didn't answer my question. Per usual.

I am speaking of Italians' sex habits.
This thread is about sex and contraception.

You asked for an explanation of Italy's low birth rate.
I not only presented one, but provided the source.

That it does not fit into your fantasy presentation is not any fault of mine.

I did answer your question. With all due respect, this thread is about sex and contraception.
I would want people to go into detail, to explain how the abortion rate in America can be decreased.
Any suggestion?
Please, be as blunt as possible. We are all adults here. We all have sex.

I also noticed that your seriously outdated source material looks cherry picked in order to support your claims.
You started out in the OP with presenting data from a mere 8 of the 50 states, then jump to Britain, then to Russia...

I swear it to God. I would never live in America. With all the utmost respect possible: I love Americans. But I love my sanity too.
When I go to Northern Europe...it's Paradise. Nobody is ashamed of speaking of sex. :)
I think modesty contributes to the lack of sex education.
What does this little rant have to do with the content of the post it is in reply to?

I re-ask the question:
why do you think these countries have the lowest birth rates in the world?
Do you think Japanese don't have sex? Or have sex very rarely?

you do know that Korea's fertility rate is 0.78, right?
Making your Italy a virtual whore house in comparison...
My point is that Italians have lots, lots of sex.
Much more than Americans, I can promise you that.
Americans have much more frenetic lives, they don't even have the time.
The difference is that Italians use contraception.
So women don't get pregnant.

Can I have my question answered?
You don't answer a question with a question.
I already gave you the answer for Italy's and you simply dismissed it.
Why bother with the others if you are merely going to dismiss any answers you dislike?

On the chance I did change my mind, should I do my searches in the WayBack Machine so as to keep in tune with your outdated information?

If you re-read the OP, it is written (quote):
I wonder why. I want to investigate Americans' sex life to understand why the abortion rate is so big.
I am wondering what the reasons are. Options:
A) American women don't take the pill or don't take it as regularly as European women
B) American women have frequent sex without any kind of contraception
C) US pharmaceuticals don't work. They are not as effective as the German ones, for example
D) American women are so fertile that hormonal pills are ineffective
E) American men are so fertile that contraception methods are ineffective
Did anyone answer?

What does the OP have to do with the current tangent you spearheaded?
I didn't.
People brought up other things and I answered to them.
If you just don't want to answer my OP question, just say it: I don't want to answer that question. I will respect you.
But please...let's communicate, otherwise we don't understand each other. :)

Of the choices made available, I suspect it is A and B.
Though I strongly suspect there are other contributing factors not provided as choices.

I also have doubts about the accuracy of you OP source when it comes to the USA, let alone the rest of the world.

I did answer your question. With all due respect, this thread is about sex and contraception.

It seemed like it was about the reasons people have abortion. Since that's, you know, the title of the thread.

Your anecdotes are not helpful to that, or any large-scale question.

I would want people to go into detail, to explain how the abortion rate in America can be decreased.
Any suggestion?
Please, be as blunt as possible. We are all adults here. We all have sex.

Abortions are reduced by reducing unwanted pregnancies.

That starts with:

Contraception. Which of course includes comprehensive sex education from teen years. But of course, conservatives are quite against that.

And on a more broad scale, it means creating an economy where people feel financially able to care for children. That's a more complex issue.

It is my opinion that the whole topic is way way much more complex than the OP thinks it is.
I am also an Anti-Natalist; a moderate one.
There are those radicals Anti-Natalists who are for late term abortions.
And are for sterilizing the entire world population to have zero births.

I am a moderate one: I just want to avoid pain and suffering that women endure with unwanted pregnancies.
