You're Not alone in envisioning a global system
Remember: a house divided can Not stand. Democratic elections shows Not unity but people almost equally divided
Humans choose moral conduct. Thus, it is Not a human (Matthew 25:31-34) but a King (President) and that Ruling King proves to be Christ Jesus who will choose who are the figurative humble sheep who will be the meek who will inherit the earthly realm of God's Kingdom
What Adam & Eve lost for us will be restored: Everlasting life on Earth as originally started in Eden
Yet when this happens, the majority of people reject that King. The chosen peolpe, by their acceptance of that King, are then rejected by the majority, the majority continue to live the error of their righteousness, all the while Jesus Christ says I do not know you.

What about 'quality' instead of 'quantity' ______________
Jesus said MANY will prove to be false - Matt. 7:21-23
The 'sword-like executional words' from Jesus' voice will give the greater representation to both the majority and the minority

- Isaiah 11:3-4; Revelation 19:14-15
The issue is, the majority will out of fear of false prophets, also reject the King they have waited for, they are blinded by a self based fear, the desire to be of the righteous who are "saved", all the while not knowing their judgement has arrived and they are failing to be born again and are becoming lost.

Yes, the spilled blood of all the martyrs/saints/holy ones - Daniel 7:18 - do insure us of a happy future - Rev. 2:10
They will govern with Christ over Earth - Rev. 20:6; 5:9-10
All I can offer, hand on heart, is that all started in 1844, with the Bab, then Baha'u'llah and the tens of thousands that gave their blood for "The Day of God", when the Father did come and dwelt amongst us.

But we've had examples of people being governed by religious rules and by priests, and prophets and people that were believed to be Gods. Now, I don't know what you thing, but I don't think any of those examples worked.
Luckily Baha'u'llah brought a new system, that does work, that is in an embryonic state. Shoghi Effendi knew even the Baha'i were not ready for it, thus the current structure, which in the fullness of time, evolve into that world democratic system promissed by Baha'u'llah.

This system will eventually be embraced and it has none of the pitfalls of the past.

Very few will appreciate this God given System, until they eventually live it.

Well, you might trust your UHJ leaders, but why should I? Aren't they just men? If they aren't perfect, then how are they going to run a religious government perfectly? What are the checks and balances? It's not the Baha'is community is it? They are supposed to obey whatever decisions that these men make, right?
If you are not inclined to, or do not want to, then stay away, no Baha'i, nor am I here asking you to do that.

That is the great thing about this system, there is absolutely no compulsion to embrace it.

There is the first refreshing positive that separates it from the outdated theocracies.

Yeah, when was the "midday" for Christianity? Since Muhammad came in 621AD or so, then it had to be before that, right?

Yes, I have contemplated that over the years and have thought the time of the Councils that cemented the Faiths path forward would be that time, but it was the time that also cemented its demise, as the doctrine of the trinity was added to scriptures.

That demise had so set in, that God gave the Message to Muhammad, that the Christians needed to cease with the trinity, as they had made Jesus God. Muhammad had to put the brakes on, thus concentrated on showing us Jesus was an Annointed Messenger, and not God descended into flesh.

This is another reason Muhammad was the Seal of the Prophets, as the next Messengers were to show us how all of them, Inclusive of Jesus and Muhammad, were Manifestations of God. How we can see them as God, knowing they are not God in the flesh.

Yes, Baha'is have a plan for the future. What is that plan? How is it going to be put into practice? What problems might arise? Yes, it worth discussing.
It is put into practice by the willingness of each individual to become part of one human family. Embracing our diversity of culture and Faith.

One does not loose their faith, they gain a myriad of Faiths in the oneness of Love.

But is the ' majority ' waiting for the King they have waited for, or just angry that they can't continue doing what they are doing_____
Satan's earthly political set up will be goaded into attacking God's Kingdom ( Daniel 2:44 )
Since earth's kings can't reach Heaven, then they will vent their rage on earth's people who support God's Kingdom coming

In the Bible book of Revelation ( revealing ) we are all invited to pray to Jehovah for Jesus to come ! - Rev. 22:20
So, at this time there is No dwelling ( literal or figurative ) among us
Heaven of Heaven can't contain God according to 1st Kings 8:27
But when Jesus comes (takes action) it will be by his executional words to rid Earth of wickedness - Rev. 19:14-15; Isaiah 11:3-4

Out-dated theocracies, or current modern-day theocracies ________
The modern-day definition of theocracy is: government by clergy or clergy class
The theocracy (God Rule) of the Bible is: government by God's Kingdom ( thy kingdom come..... ) in the hands of Christ Jesus
Jesus is the figurative 'stone' that crushes and topples the political statue image at Daniel 2:44-45

You and other Christians can pray till the cows come home, but Jesus is never going to return to earth.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more.

John 17:4
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

John 17:11
And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

no more

nothing further.
"there was no more to be said about it"
no further.
"you must have some soup, but no more wine"
exist no longer.
"the patch of ground was overgrown and the hut was no more"
never again.
"mention his name no more to me"
neither.
"I had no complaints and no more did Tom"

Sorry, the belief that Jesus will over Earth from Heaven is not in the Bible.
It is only a false doctrine of the JW church, one among many false doctrines of the JWs that are not supported by the Bible.

The issue you have is they will be called by a New Name, on that God would give. The earth Kings stand against the Father, not against Jesus, they stand against a New Name.

The Jehovah witness movement are using Jesus Christ, (not a new name), where all things are not made new, not a new heaven, nor a new earth. It is a reform attempt of Christian understandings.

You are good Christians, but you are not yet of the New Name, may God bless you always. Regards Tony

Yes, the world would Not see a 'physical' Jesus ever again - John 14:19; John 6:51; 1st Tim. 6:14-16
God resurrected dead Jesus back to life in a ' spirit ' body like the angels have - made alive in a spirit body - please see 1st Peter 3:18 B
John 16:10 right, the world would Not ever see a 'physical' Jesus again
John 17:4 Yes, Jesus finished the work ( Luke 4:43 ) his Father gave for Jesus to do
John 17:11 Yes, Holy Father keep through thine own name ( YHWH Psalm 83:18 B JKV ) God's own name - John 17:6, 26
Jesus was Not praying his followers become God - please see John 17:21-23
Rather, they could be 'one' in faith, belief, unity, goal , purpose, agreement .........

I see they have vented their rage on earth's people who support God's Kingdom coming, the issue is I see that differnt from you. I see it started with the persecution of tens of thousands of Babi, who were slaughtered promoting the Message of the Bab, who gave their life for the Father who was to soon come. That persecution continued when the Father, Baha'u'llah then wrote to all the Kings, Queens, Rulers and religious Leaders of the late 1800's.

From a Baha'i perspective, these refer to the end of ages and the Revelations of the Bab and Baha'u'llah.
Regards Tony
Thank you for the above information
End of what ages__________ In the Bible it is the end times of badness on Earth
In the Bible the book of Revelation is a revealing of the happy climax found at Revelation 22:2
There is coming 'healing' for earth's nations

I find according to Psalm 2 earth's kings do take a stand against Jesus
The 'anointed one' of verse 2 B is the 'anointed one' of Isaiah 61:1 aka Jesus - Luke 4:17-21
Are you thinking about the 'new name ' as found at Revelation 2:17 on the white pebble __________

2nd Peter 3:5,7,13 speaks of (3) three heavens and earths
* The ones of OLD in verse 5 is the heavens and earth of Noah's day
* The ones of NOW verse 7 is the governmental heavens and earth since Noah's day to our day
* The one of NEW in verse 13 is the coming new kingdom government ( thy kingdom come..... )
