People often choose things that can cause bullying and problems. For example many people choose to support Trump, even though it can cause great harm for them. Many people choose not to take a vaccine, even though they lost a job because of that....

People can see things so good that they are willing to take the negative side that comes with it. Doesn't make it any less of their own choice by what they think is good.

No need to call it illness, but it still seems to be a mental issue. And it therefore can also be "healed" mentally, if one so wants.

It's a difficult issue for sure. Republicans get a lot of hate on the topic, but I note several European countries are backtracking on gender affirming care, citing to recent studies.

A Two-year-old doesn't know what to think. S/he just is what s/he is.

How does "what a person wants to think" change his brain anatomy or neural pathways, as revealed on brain scans? It would appear that gender orientation is more anatomical and inborn than a choice.

I find this interview to be honest and factual. Peterson is an expert interviewer that asks great questions.

The reality that Europe has already backtracked their positions and, here in the US, the current laws that are now addressing this issue only confirms the reality that many hospitals are simply interested in money and experimentation.

Statistically, most youth and children grow out of the “identity” crisis. Quite normal. Sterilization and mutilation of children is obviously wrong.
