Well, you can ask this about anything; I'm simply responding to it with my own sentiment, not any action. Why believe that was real?
It doesn't change or have any impact on my actions, as in who I'll vote for or won't vote for.
Neither this nor the assassination attempt on Trump are going to affect my decision on who I'm going to vote for.
I voted for Trump in the past 2 elections; prior to that I voted 3rd/independent party with the exception of the 1st time I voted for POTUS.
I'd much rather vote for someone like Ron Paul, Justin Amash, Thomas Massie, and maybe Rand Paul, over Donald Trump.
I voted for Trump in the past because he seemed to be right over the target (figuratively/politically), even though he's not a hard-core libertarian; I basically saw him as an outsider and not a member of the political establishment elites & cronies inside the beltway.
When I first heard that Trump was running for 2016, I was mildly annoyed at the news & at first when the media came out trying to smear him (on both sides of the political spectrum), I bought the disinformation. It wasn't until after I actually listened to unedited footage of what he actually said or did that I realized that the media was distorting the facts about that; this along with him refusing to pledge to support whoever the GOP 2016 primary is no matter what he thinks of them made me start liking Trump.
If someone like this managed to make their way to this point that Trump did as a Democrat, I'd probably vote for them for that type of reason.
Frankly with this Gaza Genocide situation right now, Trump's on thin ice for my vote for him; I can't determine where he stands on that because he's being rather vague about it.
Part of what may influence whether or not I vote for Trump will be determined by who he picks for his VP candidate; if he picks one of these rabidly pro-Israel/anti-Palestinian pieces of garbage like Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, or Tom Cotton, who can't seem to distinguish or make up their mind about whether their loyalty is to the US, or any foreign entity (like Israel), then that will pretty much make me go back to voting 3rd/independent party. I think Vivek as his VP pick would be the only thing that would practically guarantee my vote for Trump.
Why?I can see that to be much more likely to be a false Republican claim than an actual event.
First you ask me why believe that was real, which I consider a valid question with a fair point, but now you're assuming it's a lie; no points for you, for this one.Lies like that should make you want to vote Democratic.
Even if it was a lie, that in no way would influence me to vote for a Democrat, even if I didn't consider it to be an awful political party much worse than the GOP.
