No it is hilarious that in her quest to reduce her carbon footprint shifts it to the people like the sailors flying back to the UK after dropping her off in the USA. Two sailors both adults flying creates a larger footprint then if she just flew on her own. So in that case her quest results in more than twice the footprint she was trying to avoid.

So you would prefer she swim?

Yet she got your notice and they of the president and his child bashing tweets.

Why is the president of the United States cyberbullying a 16-year-old girl? | Nancy Jo Sales
She is known to have Asperger's disorder, and one of the symptoms can be anger issues. I know, because I have Asperger's, and anger is one of my symptoms. Anyway, Trump made a comment like she should control her anger, and "just chill".and watch a movie with friends. I want to know your thoughts.

What is he doing , is this on twitter? He should not be tweeting a 16 year old girl period especially with his history of sexually harassing women. Sounds like hes about to get in trouble again.

She put herself there and on her own merit. She wasn't pushed to become an activist. Her parents have supported her in her decisions, but that's her decisions. She's 16, smart and engaged.
So is she an autistic child, or this?
If this is the more accurate description(which I think it is), then why is she commonly described as delicate? Why does a boorish tweet from Trump matter more than if he'd tweeted something stupid about some Hollywood starlet?

I think Trump is wrong about climate change and stupid for mentioning her in a tweet. But she/her parents/her handlers invited this by making her a public figure, on a controversial subject. And now they've struck media gold by getting her in a Trump tweet.

Frankly, knowing how media savvy and corrupt Trump is, it wouldn't surprise me if he charged them to do it.
"Give me $100K, and I'll mention her in a tweet".

I don't care as that isn't my point. I was pointing out how in her cause and lack of awareness result in twice that which she was trying to avoid in that case.

I find it hilarious that people are listen to a 16 year old with no expertise in any of the fields she talks about merely repeating what professionals have said for years.

Another who thinks children are incapable of indipendent thought.
Not incapable. Just immature. I would wager environmentalism is just a phase she's going through.

My sister was like that when she was a teen. She even yelled at me once for using hairspray and damaging the ozone.

It is part of her treatment as per her bio. She was about to become a dropout as she refused to go to school. Her activism resulted in her returning to school until now.

I figured she was Swedish, but that'd be okay, American needs more Swedish or Nordic immigrants. I typically enjoy people who share the same skin color as me. ...:)

That says more about you than it does anyone else. Perhaps you'd find racial segregation placating with such a thoroughly regressive outlook.

Good thing conservatives ignore children and listen to actual scientists in the field.

... oh, wait. They tend to ignore those too.

Quite sad, isn't it?

I am a fiscal conservative not an American GOP conservative. The GOP rejects the idea as it's base has a large Christian faction which is puts their religious babble before anything else. No major party in Canada, even the Conservatives, reject CC, GW or whatever you want to call it. I do not reject it. I just happen to be a non-radical unlike some people.

Fair enough. Then what I said doesn't apply to you.

That fine then. Like I said I am not a radical. Some people just advocate for solutions and funding methods which I reject. Also I will complain how some nations like India and China whine yet get away with pollution levels due to developing nation status. India opened a lot of new coal power plants over the last decade. People ignore it.

Notice how many of these activists are only in Western nations attacking Western Leaders? Or nations following Western principles? To me that is often preaching to the choir.

I dont give a toss what colour people are.

Me too, I have some few black Facebook friends as well as a few Latino Facebook friends, proving I'm hardly a racist.

In fact, I'd seriously consider moving to a place with a majority of brown colored people like Uruguay if where I live now in the United States were to be taken over by extreme socialists.

She can leave the public eye. Until she does she is fair game.
Kids are not fair game: However she has the right to leave but the fact that he has a desire to argue with 16 year old's shows his own maturity level . what's more what's in his his weird mind and pays attention too. chill out? Its like he's 16 years old, ewee, I wouldn't want him tweeting at me if I were a teen .

Yet she is internationally respected and raising awareness of what so many people ignore and mock. That she has to live through when those who feign ignorance will be long gone.

It seems children and young adults are far more aware than you give them credit for

That doesn't prove anything at all. It could be considered tokenism or gate keeping for example.

In fact, I'd seriously consider moving to a place with a majority of brown colored people like Uruguay if where I live now in the United States were to be taken over by extreme socialists.

Uruguay is 88% white and currently more socialist than the US system at the moment. Their healthcare system is pretty much what Joe Biden intends to do if he gets elected (so basically a mix of public and private sector in healthcare) and the education system is 100% public and secular.

All things considered, the top level of taxation in Uruguay is 60% and the sales taxes goes up to 22% for some products which is a LOT higher than sales taxes in the US.

Uruguay just elected for the first time in over 15 years an non-socialist party. If you are searching to escape "socialism" in the US maybe don't go to Uruguay, Europe, Canada, New-Zealand or Australia. You should aim for Eastern Europe like Hungary or Poland for example, maybe Thailand or the Philippine too.
