No wonder Greta is mentally ill with a mother like this.

Her mother, Melania Ernman, a noted opera singer in Sweden, says Greta “is one of the few people who can see carbon dioxide with the naked eye. She sees how greenhouse gases pour out of our chimneys and rise into the wind, where they turn the atmosphere into a gigantic invisible garbage dump.”

Thunberg’s fierce advocacy for worldwide action to assuage her global warming panic is a chicken-and-egg situation.

That is, did the propaganda on climate change drive young Greta cuckoo, or was she unbalanced to begin with, which then made her susceptible to believe an Al Gore–type global warming hysteria?

E. Michael Jones puts the blame on Thunberg’s mother and Sweden for so thoroughly abandoning the moral law.

In Jones’s telling, while Ernman was trekking about the world to applause and acclaim on the opera stage, Greta was home without a mother in a morally bankrupt Sweden. This unbalanced Greta.

In her memoir Scenes from the Heart, Ernman makes a self-serving claim that the issue of climate change made Greta mentally ill just as she was entering puberty.

Ernman traces the onset of Greta’s disorder back to a specific moment when “during one of her classes, Greta’s class viewed a film about ocean pollution. In the South Pacific, there is a floating island made up of plastic that is larger than Mexico. Greta bursts into tears during the film. Her classmates are moved to tears, too.”

Jones says climate change was an acceptable substitute for guilt on the part of the mother for not being there for Greta and hatred on Greta’s part for being abandoned.

Both are at peace now that they have man-made global warming into the boogeyman.

She writes that “it manifests itself in our neck of the woods [Sweden] in the form of stress illnesses, segregation, and ever-longer lines in child and youth psychiatric clinics.”

Again, and for Ernman’s edification, it is not global warming per se that is driving the kiddies mad, it’s a combination of the deliberate hype about its dangers coupled with living in a secular, God-free world.

Clearly, as the West abandons God and religion as outmoded concepts, many more people will become lost and adrift in the valueless societies.

Mental illness of one type or another has to follow, with current examples being gender confusion, Trump Derangement Syndrome, global warming, and the embrace of socialism.

Do you have any idea what causes autism? Look it up and stop blaming what you obviously fail to understand?

No it is hilarious that in her quest to reduce her carbon footprint it shifts to the people like the sailors flying back to the UK after dropping her off in the USA. Two sailors both adults flying creates a larger footprint then if she just flew on her own. So in that case her quest results in more than twice the footprint she was trying to avoid in that case.

She still seems to be walking the walk as best she can, not flying herself and even convincing her mom not to. Likely, her efforts as a relatable figurehead in environmentalism are worth it.

That doesn't prove anything at all. It could be considered tokenism or gate keeping for example.

Uruguay is 88% white and currently more socialist than the US system at the moment. Their healthcare system is pretty much what Joe Biden intends to do if he gets elected (so basically a mix of public and private sector in healthcare) and the education system is 100% public and secular.

All things considered, the top level of taxation in Uruguay is 60% and the sales taxes goes up to 22% for some products which is a LOT higher than sales taxes in the US.

Uruguay just elected for the first time in over 15 years an non-socialist party. If you are searching to escape "socialism" in the US maybe don't go to Uruguay, Europe, Canada, New-Zealand or Australia. You should aim for Eastern Europe like Hungary or Poland for example, maybe Thailand or the Philippine too.

The people of Uruguay struggle for food and housing. Many wish to leave, but have no way to go, or anywhere available.

They do not seem to have fact checked themselves.

You searched for mediabiasfactcheck - Media Bias/Fact Check

Maybe they can’t handle the truth as well.

It would be interesting to find out just who or whom is funding her jetsetting tour of the world.

Somebody's backing the bill.
So what?
The financier probably realised how much guts she had, and how well informed and outspoken, and thought she was worth supporting.

May somebody decide to put so much trust in you or me, eh?

They are not a media outlet but ask them. I am sure they will check themselves if you ask nicely

And still no evidence to support your claim, let me remind you again what you said so that you can look for evidence or withdraw the claim

I never claimed it was due to autism. It could be because she is 16 or a radical repeating lines on a script.

You are the one assigning this to her autism.

What a pathetic point to make. Really.

And Asperger's syndrome and Autism are conditions which produce such brilliant minds.

Greta has an additional benefit of having outstanding and amazing GUTS!

Worth listening to.

The temptation of subjective rating scales is obvious, but such scales misinform readers and probably tend to mislead their creators as well.

A rating scale that fails to base its ratings on quantifiable data is worthless. Van Zandt's ratings are worthless except to tell you his opinion.

PolitiFact Bias: Can you trust what "Media Bias/Fact Check" says about PolitiFact? (Updated)

The charge that TROP is "anti-Muslim" is addressed on our 'critics' page. While it is true that a great deal of negative (but truthful) information about Islam is posted on the site, TROP goes well out of its way in prominent postings to discourage discrimination and ill will toward Muslims as people. It seems that an objective reviewer would point this out. In fact, by not mentioning this, isn't MediaBiasFactCheck demonstrating bias in exactly the same way that it is accusing TROP?

TROP Responds to Media Bias/Fact Check

The public’s paranoia toward “fake news” over the past year has opened the door for a different kind of scam artistry: websites that try to get ahead by tricking the public into believing that real news outlets are fake. One of the most notorious scams has come in the form of a site called Media Bias Fact Check, which offers no information of the sort, and instead offers amateurish “ratings” of various news outlets. These ratings are inaccurate, useless, and changed at random. Even worse, in at least some instances, its “ratings” are simply based on information it’s cribbed from Wikipedia.

The “Media Bias Fact Check” scam is built around the premise of convincing gullible internet users that various respected news outlets are compromised because they’re “biased” in way or another. This allows its victims to believe they know something that others don’t know, and causes them to comment with links to these phony ratings in reply to articles posted from the news outlets in question. But the Media Bias Fact Check ratings often read like a fifth grader’s unfinished homework assignment or worse.

Sour grapes, to quote from the first comment on politifact

A blog that has an insane hate-boner for Politifact telling me that another source that verifies the credibility of other news sources that so happened to rate Politifact as credible complaining that there wasn't any objective research behind that website, but the author instead points me to blogs from their own website about "credible" research?

Note mediabiasfactchech data is used by universities including MIT and is used by indipendent sources to track fake news despite honesty stating it is in no way scientific.

And still no evidence to prove your claim, I'm beginning to think you just made the claim not because its true but it massages your ego. Am i right in that thought?

Overview

According ot this source, Uruguay is basically the most prosperous, corruption free and socially liberal country in South America. It's also good to note that it's economical growth was most important in the early 2000 to now and its poverty rates has been reduced from 32% to 8% in the same period of time. I would like to note that this period of prosperity happened under the leadership of a liberal socialist government. I think you may be confusing Uruguay with Venezuela.

No, it's just that I was looking into vacationing there once, because it looks really nice, but I was hearing at the time that employment was scarce, and that the taxes were way too high, causing some struggle. But it is a great place, no doubt. Nothing like Venezuela.

How many rightwing organisations believe in de-platforming those with a different opinion?
