Trump Puts Women Off Sex. Surprise

Honestly I had never heard of the word strongman before reading certain posts here...
A strongman refers to a particular type of dictator (there is more than one type). They use force to consolidate and preserve their power. HOWEVER, as long as you don't mess with them being in power, you can do and think as you please. Contrast this with a totalitarian dictator, who will punish you for your thoughts. No dictator is fun to live under, but if you have to choose, you are a lot freer under a strongman than a totalitarian dictator.

Examples of strongmen are Juan Peron, Hugo Chavez, and Ferdinand Marcos.
Examples of totalitarian dictators are Stalin, Hitler, and Mao.
The feminist movement has decided that men have to be submissive...
Oh baloney. Women hate men who are submissive. We like men who are mature, responsible, kind, ambitious, loves dogs... LOL This includes feminists. I ought to know, since I am one.
and from a sexual standpoint, I guess more and more feminists (pardon me but I need to go into detail) will choose the Amazons' horse ride in that particular intimate moment with their own husband,
You know, there is a Jewish folktale that Lilith (the first husband of Adam) insisted on having sex on top, and how horrible it was to think she was equal. LOL This sort of prohibition was not only ridiculously sexist, but deprived both women AND MEN to have sex in ways they find pleasurable. They used to also think if you had sex with the lights on, your children would be blind, or that if you looked at each other naked, your children would have cancer. It's all a bunch of hogwash. Here's the basic rundown. If a couple prefers missionary, that's fine. If they prefer her on top, that's fine. If they prefer the kama sutra and do it a hundred different ways, that's fine too. Stay out of the marriage bed.

I went to get my dodgy knee checked out today. The doctor decided I needed an x-ray. Went and got an x-ray. Overall I was disappointed - there was neither warmth nor fuzziness. And because I live in a socialist hell I didn't have the freedom to pay for this service.

Morticia Addams is like Lilith in her marriage with Gomez Addams. ;)

Just out of curiosity, what exactly was the medical support they had before but now lost?
There are states such as Texas where doctors are so afraid to perform an abortion, that a woman has to be half dead before they intervene, and sometimes that means it is too late. Women have died. Would you say that qualifies as medical support they had but is now lost?

Yes. I believe the Eve and Lilith myth is an archetype that helps us understand how Lilith, the first feminist in history stood up to her husband.
Adam was not the strongman, because the myth says he passively accepted Lilith's impositions in the marital bed.

Why are Putin, Orban and even Musk considered all strongmen?

I think a lot of us feel that way. :)

A strongman is a political dictator. Adam was not.

Totalitarianism is a more extreme form of governance than a strongman dictatorship. In totalitarianism, the state controls every single last aspect of your life, including your thoughts and beliefs.

While Putin's Russia is authoritarian, it isn’t strictly totalitarian by that traditional definition. Russia under Putin does not control all aspects of life in the way totalitarian states (like North Korea) historically have. He's far more interested in simply staying in power aka not having anyone challenge that, than in pushing any sort of ideology that needs to be enforced.

For all the same reasons, Orban is also a strongman rather than a totalitarian.

Elon Musk is not a head of state. He is not a dictator of any sort. He wields a unique type of power, often described as a blend of technocratic influence, celebrity status, and financial leverage.

I was analyzing the anthropological and psychological implications.

I mean...our culture was for centuries, a pagan culture. You cannot erase that just like that. With a great devotion for the Mother Earth...with a gynocentric vision.

This is a comedian making fun of Trump...surrounded by four pretty woman.
The vulgar word you see in Italian below...signifies the veneration towards the symbol of fecundity and motherhood.
So I think Trump is almost worshipped here...because of that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "our culture." I'm an American, and our culture was never pagan. Our origins are in Christianity, Deism, and the Enlightenment.

I'm going to assume you mean European culture. Europe hasn't been pagan for hundreds of years. The last pagan group in Europe to adopt Christianity were the Lithuanians. This occurred in 1386, when Grand Duke Jogaila converted to Christianity as part of his marriage to Queen Jadwiga of Poland. The only "paganism" that still exists in Europe are mere shadows in the form of evergreens at Christmas, Easter eggs, and the custom of referring to Mother Earth.

In the last century, there have been some individuals who have sought to revive paganism, but what they really have is a syncretization between the old pagan values and the Christian values of the culture. It's not really the paganism that used to exist, which is why they appropriately refer to it as NEO-paganism. The easiest way to realize this is that none of them are talking about burning people in wicker men or casting them into cenotes or tearing out their still beating hearts.

If it is part of your spirituality to resonate strongly with nature, and to experience the divine as feminine, that's fine. A little different than me, but that's okay.

Sorry...my anthropological interpretation was very hazardous.
I meant the cultures of Southern Italy and Rome...there was this obsession with the Mother Goddess.
Paganism still exists in the DNA...despite the fact that people worship Jesus and God.

I have to assume that if I was a woman I would not want intimacy with Trump supporters either.

Come to think of it, that does not depend on me being a woman. Nor does it end with physical intimacy.

Paganism still exists in the DNA..
While that's very poetic :), it's not literally true. Our DNA does seem to hardwire us for religion, but the specifics of how that expresses itself varies from religious culture to religious culture, whether animism, pantheism, polytheism, henotheism, monotheism, etc. etc. There are those who begin life as Christians and become neo-pagans (or whatever). And there are people who start out life as neo-pagans, and become Christians (or whatever).
